OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH
TRIUNE GOD
We believe in the triune God (Trinity); God the Father, the Son (Jesus Christ), and Holy Spirit (1 John 5:7)
HOLY SPIRIT
A believer must be filled or (baptized) in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues according to Acts 2:4. The true Holy Spirit bears fruit. (Galatians 5:22, 2 Cor. 3:17)
SALVATION
All have sinned and are in need of salvation which God provided through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Salvation comes by conversion (repentance). We emphasize that man must be born again by water and the Spirit through the word of God. (John 3:3-8, 1 Peter 1:23)
THE HOLY BIBLE
We believe in both the Old Testament and the New Testament. We believe that all Scripture in the Holy Bible is the divinely inspired Word of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man or woman of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work. (2 Timothy 3:16-17
HEALING
Healing has been provided for every believer by our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Isaiah 53:5 says “But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; the chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. (Matthew 8:16 17). We believe in the laying on of hands on the sick. James 5:14 says if anyone is sick, call the elders of the church. (Luke 14:18, Luke 4:38-40, Luke 9:1-2)
WATER BAPTISM
We believe in the baptism of water by immersion signifying being buried with our Lord Jesus Christ and dying to our old life and being resurrected to a new life with Christ Jesus our Lord. (John 3:23. Acts 8:38. Matthew 28:18-20)
CHRIST'S RETURN
The return of Jesus Christ will be in person, will be visible, and will be soon (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18
RESURRECTION
There shall be a bodily resurrection of the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation (John 11:25, Revelation 20:11-15)
COMMUNION
We observe of the Lord’s Supper (The Holy Communion) as commanded by our Lord Jesus Christ. (Matt 26:26-30. 1 Cor. 11: 23-25)
