"Pentecost reminds us that the Christian life is never merely personal or private. The Spirit draws us outward in love and mission, calling each of us to contribute to the life of the Church in unique and necessary ways."

Newly professed Sr. Elizabeth shares her reflection for Pentecost Sunday. Come, Holy Spirit!

What is a “Come Away with Me” retreat?
It is more than a brief “Come & See” weekend. It is an opportunity to spend a week in our community in Justice, IL. It is intended as a time to deepen one's prayer life, allowing the Holy Spirit to move in one's heart. It is also an opportunity for those discerning a religious vocation to glimpse the way of life in the community of Dominican Sisters. The goal of this annual retreat is to offer a safe space for women to meet God and grow more in love with Him, the Divine Bridegroom.
Please keep in your prayers young women who are already coming to the retreat and those who are still pondering the invitation in their hearts.
If you are still considering joining this year’s “Come Away with Me” retreat, contact Sr. Charbel Joseph at [email protected]

"We are made for more, for our eternal homeland—the Kingdom of God."

On the Solemnity of the Ascension, Sr. Charbel reflects on her recent visit to Calgary, where she shared with young people the Good News that we are Sons & Daughters of God who loves us and wants to share His eternity with us.

We are grateful to Sr. Charbel and Sr. Felicity of the Provincial House in the U.S., who recently spent a very busy week with us, visiting high schools, attending a women's group, hosting the women's retreat at our convent, and hanging out at our daycare!
God bless you in your ministry, dear Sisters! Be back soon!
