ਦਸ਼ਮੇਸ਼ ਕਲਚਰ ਸੈਂਟਰ (DCC) ਵਲੋਂ ਸਮੂਹ ਕੈਲਗਰੀ ਸੰਗਤ, ਨੌਜਵਾਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਪੰਥਕ ਦਰਦੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਡਾ. ਅਮਰਜੀਤ ਸਿੰਘ ਨਾਲ ਇੱਕ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਵਿਚਾਰ-ਚਰਚਾ ਅਤੇ ਲੈਕਚਰ ਵਿੱਚ ਸ਼ਾਮਲ ਹੋਣ ਲਈ ਖੁੱਲ੍ਹਾ ਸੱਦਾ ਦਿੱਤਾ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਵਾਹਿਗੁਰੂ ਜੀ ਕੀ ਫਤਿਹ

Dashmesh Culture Centre would like to sincerely thank Mayor Jeremy Farkas, Premier Danielle Smith and the Office of the Premier, elected officials from all levels of government, community leaders, and Calgarians from across the city who have reached out with messages of concern and support following the threatening calls recently directed toward our facility.

The overwhelming response has been deeply appreciated by our Executive Committee and the broader Sikh community.

Dashmesh Culture Centre is a place of worship, service and community that welcomes thousands of people every week. Threats directed toward any place of worship or community gathering space are concerning, and we continue to take this matter seriously and cooperate fully with the Calgary Police Service.

At the same time, the response we have received over the past several days is an important reminder of the strength of our city and province. We have heard from people of many different backgrounds, faiths and communities who have made it clear that hatred, intimidation and threats have no place in Calgary or Alberta.

We also want to thank the Calgary Police Service for its response and continued attention to the matter.

Dashmesh Culture Centre has been part of Calgary for decades, and our Sikh community is proud to contribute to the social, cultural and economic fabric of this city. Our doors will continue to remain open, and we will continue our work of serving the community through our Gurdwara Sahib, schools, food programs, charitable initiatives and community services.

To every Calgarian who called, sent a message or offered words of encouragement: thank you. Your support has meant a great deal to our community.

We remain committed to building a Calgary where every person, regardless of faith or background, can gather, worship and serve their community safely and with dignity.
