STREAMS OF JOY INTERNATIONAL DAILY DEVOTIONAL: JUNE 3, 2026

YOU HAVE ESCAPED

“And the midwives said unto Pharaoh, Because the Hebrew women are not as the Egyptian women; for they are lively, and are delivered ere the midwives come in unto them.” (Exodus 1: 19)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

In our Focal Scripture, the Hebrew midwives narrated to Pharaoh why they were unable to kill the children of the Hebrew women. According to the midwives, the children of the Hebrew women were birthed before the midwives showed up. So, before the midwives showed up with a mandate to kill, the children already came forth. Before negativity arrived at their doorstep, the children were already born.

Friend, I pray for you: before negativity arrives, you would have escaped. Before the systems of hell gain grounds around you, you would have escaped. Before the enemy is done setting traps for you to fall, you would have escaped. Before your enemies are done cooking wickedness against you, you would have escaped. Before the timeline for evil to be executed against you, you would have escaped. You are not a victim at all.

Hear me as I hear the Lord: whatever structures of hell that are raised against you, I decree, they will not prevail. Whatever negativity that is cooked against you, they will not prevail. Whatever satanic arrows that are fired against you, they will not prevail. Whatever plans that are being made to pull you down, I decree, they will not prevail. The attacks of the enemy against you will not prevail. The plans of the enemy against you will fail.

Jesus did not redeem you so that you can be caught in the snare of the enemy. Jesus did not redeem you so that the will of the enemy will prevail over you. Whatever efforts the enemy makes against you, Jesus already placed you ahead, beyond the enemy’s reach. Jesus already gave you the advantage of not being a victim of the wishes and negative expectations of the enemy. Jesus already rescued you ahead of time.

This is that season where it will be said that you escaped every wicked plot of the enemy. You will not be caught in the snare of the enemy.

Psalm 124: 7 says: “Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.”

Declare With Me: I have escaped from every snare of the enemy, in Jesus’ name!

STREAMS OF JOY INTERNATIONAL DAILY DEVOTIONAL: JUNE 2, 2026

YOU ARE DIFFERENT

“18. And the king of Egypt called for the midwives, and said unto them, Why have ye done this thing, and have saved the men children alive? 19. And the midwives said unto Pharaoh, Because the Hebrew women are not as the Egyptian women; for they are lively, and are delivered ere the midwives come in unto them.” (Exodus 1: 18-19)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

In our Focal Scripture, the Hebrew midwives told Pharaoh that the Hebrew women were not like the Egyptian women. Pharaoh wanted to have them kill the male children that were birthed by the Hebrew women, but they explained that the Hebrew women were simply not like the Egyptian women. There was something different about the Hebrew women that made it difficult to kill the babies they were bringing forth.

Friend, let me remind you that you are not like other people. You are not like those whom negativity can catch up with. You are not like those who will have bad news meet them at their doorstep. You are not like those whose results can be delayed. You are not like those whose fortunes can dip suddenly. You are not like those whose doors can be locked at will. You are not like those whose miracles and testimonies can be hijacked.

Pharaoh came with an evil agenda to hurt the male children of the Hebrew women, but the Hebrew midwives were quick to inform him that these were not the same as Egyptian women. They informed him that these Hebrew women were different. Go and announce to the Pharaoh’s of this world, that you are different, and your case is different. The negativity that thrives in others cannot thrive in your life. You are not like them.

You are not part of that generation that can be easily undermined. You are not of that generation whose seed will die before their time. You are not of that group that gains and loses. You are not of the group that rises and falls. You are not of the group that makes efforts and ends up empty handed. You are not of the group that suffers loss in the time of gain. You are not of the group that can be undermined freely by the systems of hell.

You are different, and your case is different. You are not like those that the enemy can take advantage of. You are not like the victims of the works of darkness. You come from royalty; you belong to heaven’s dynasty.

Galatians 2: 20 says: “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.”

Declare With Me: My case is different; it may happen to others, but it won’t happen to me, in Jesus’ name!

STREAMS OF JOY INTERNATIONAL DAILY DEVOTIONAL: JUNE 1, 2026

HEAVEN’S GOALS

“But the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men children alive.” (Exodus 1: 17)

That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.

In our Focal Scripture, the Hebrew midwives refused to do the bidding of Pharaoh because they feared the Lord. They refused to let Pharaoh use their skills to perpetrate evil. They chose to please God with their skills. They chose to do God’s bidding with their skills. They chose to take sides with God using their skills. They chose to allow heaven benefit from their skills. Whilst blocking Pharaoh’s will, they advanced God’s will with their skills.

Friend, what has God benefited from your skills? What is heaven’s benefit from the abilities and capacities you have within you? What benefit has heaven recorded as a result of your strategic positioning in the marketplace? What has heaven gained since you gained higher grounds? In what way is heaven benefiting from your beauty, knowledge, contacts, positions, greatness, wealth, growth, access, relevance, etc.?

The Hebrew midwives did not only refuse to do the bidding of Pharaoh; they took sides with heaven to achieve heaven’s goal of preserving God’s people. Be intentional to serve heaven’s purpose. Let the opportunities that come your way make a difference in heaven’s goals. Let the doors and gates that open to you, yield results for God. Let the help of God that comes your way open the doors of help to others.

You were created for God’s pleasure. You were made to worship Jesus. You were made for the glory of God. You were made to serve heaven’s agenda. You were made to prioritize heaven’s goal above your own goal. You are God’s messenger in your duty post, and heaven expects you to add to the goals that heaven set out to achieve. Be intentional to use every platform, opportunity, resource, access, etc. for heaven’s gain.

Don’t be counted amongst them who achieved personal goals but achieved nothing for heaven. Switch up your efforts, and use what you have to achieve heaven’s goals.

Revelations 4: 11 says: “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”

Declare With Me: Every platform I have will be for heaven’s gain, nothing missing, nothing broken, in Jesus’ name!
