It was an ordinary Sunday when Uday developed a headache. Within a short time, the 12-year-old could no longer move his legs or breathe on his own. Doctors at the Alberta Children’s Hospital discovered he had suffered 13 strokes.

For Uday and his family, the days that followed brought enormous uncertainty. His care team worked together to give him the best possible chance at recovery.

Because every child is more than the medical challenges they face. They have dreams, milestones and a future still waiting to unfold.

Through the generosity of our community, the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation helps support the care, research and technology that can help make that future possible.

Please consider making a gift today to help give more children the best possible chance at a brighter future. ❤️
