Ephesians 2:10 - "For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." 🪡

Yesterday, the Women's Ministry got together and enjoyed a nice relaxing activity - Cross Stitching! We were able to chat, laugh, pray, snack and meet new and familiar faces. We recognized that as sisters in faith, we are uniquely made and loved, and an influential part of the church family. We look forward to being excited, encouraged, and empowered to meet up with one another intentionally!

Our next meeting will be an outdoor activity in June. Keep your eyes peeled for the next meeting announcement!

MORE THAN A TRIP! 🌎 This summer we have a first-ever-sccefc-team driving down to Mexico 🇲🇽

They’ll be helping build simple shelters, roofing, digging foundations, building outhouses, and spending time with families and kids through games and connection.

This morning they shared a little of the heart behind why they’re going—and how we can be part of it too.

✨SCCEFC + FEFC YOUTH RALLY NIGHT 2026✨

Better Together! We had several churches together Friday, May 29 and they worshipped, listened to the message from .rick.g , played games, hung out, played ball, had snacks, danced while .cfu spun, and they will remember this night as a core memory!

"In the church we are all part of the body of Christ" - Ecclesiastes 4:9-10

We are better together! "For where two or three gather in my name, there I am with them." - Matthew 18:20

What a worship filled weekend! The English Congregation had a Sunday Service Experience Team retreat at Camp Chestermere and we had a great time getting to know the different teams and individuals that serve on Sundays! We sang together and reflected on Isaiah 40 and had a good sharing time - and on Sunday morning we had our teens lead worship for the first time during the English service! Praise God for gifting these teens the passion and musical talent to lead us in worship. Thankful for the hosting team, the coffee team, and A/V team as well for giving us all such an enjoyable Sunday morning experience! Glory be to God!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for last night’s Creation Talk with Creation Ministries International 🌍✨

We heard a presentation from a Young Earth Creation perspective, asked questions, and explored big topics around creation, science, faith, and how Christians understand Genesis.

Pastor Rick reminded us that Christians may land in different places on creation, and that part of growing together is listening, asking questions, and hearing other perspectives with open minds. He also shared his hope that future conversations could include other Christian perspectives on Genesis and creation 🤝📖

At the centre of it all is this shared truth: God is our Creator — the One who brings order, beauty, and life, inviting us to care for His world and one another. 🙌

🎵 And the Glory of the Lord 🎵 We had our annual joint Christmas service last Sunday and it was filled with beautiful music and song! The choir, the staff and seniors shared their gift in displaying worship. Pastor Rick delivered the message about the Shepherds' Joy. We felt the Spirit move in our response song and look forward to Christmas! We have one more event hosted by the English Congregation, the Candlelight Christmas Eve service. Join us in the Chapel at 5pm Dec 24!
