Come and enjoy listening to some of Vancouver's (and Canada's) finest jazz musicians in the warm ambiance and acoustics of the Sanctuary in Brentwood, the arts centre at Brentwood Presbyterian Church, 1600 Delta Ave, Burnaby, BC. This past Sunday the Brentwood Hymn Swing Quartet was honoured to provide leadership in the worshiping of United Churches of Langley. Noah Franche-Nolan arranged the hymns and was on piano. Wynston Minckler was on bass. Karl DeJong was on bass. And Teresa Marie was on vocals. Brian Fraser offered the reflection on jazz and conversation. Thanks to the minister there, Sophia Ducey, for the invite and coordinating all the happenings of the morning. Here's the recording:
