We get to declare to the world through our lives, words and actions that God is GOOD, FAITHFUL and LOVING! That He IS who He says He is! Through the power of the Holy Spirt in us we get to proclaim, to be witnesses to others about Jesus and what He has done for us!
Come join us this Sunday for an ALL AGES story sharing time, where we will get to hear and be encouraged through how God is working TODAY in and through our lives to share His love and goodness to the world!
Can’t wait to celebrate with you all! Invite friends and families! Kiddos will remain upstairs with us throughout our shorter gathering. ALL are so welcome regardless of your faith background!

🔥🔥🔥Pentecost Sunday and our Refresh worship night was awesome!! 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
We celebrated the gift of the Holy Spirit and His presence within us- guiding, comforting, helping, leading us to life in Jesus, filling us with God’s love, peace, power and assurance that we are children of God! “For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”

What a gift -that we do not earn, we simply receive in faith and surrender!

Grateful to all who shared, prayed, served, helped to organize and supported with childcare over these two gatherings!

Pentecost is this Sunday and we celebrate the gift of the Holy Spirit (the Helper) who was sent to empower us to know, experience and share the love of God. We receive from God- his grace, our faith, our salvation, His Spirit! We do nothing to earn! He is a God of delight and invitation to know Him and His incredible character, presence and power. We are invited to join Him in what He is already doing- never to strive and do it in our own strength! Where are you seeking love, power, peace, purpose? Come and join us this Sunday and Monday as we seek God’s presence and enjoy times of singing, praying and listening to His voice. You are wanted and welcome by the God of the universe- who would stop at nothing for you to know His love and grace! Come and receive - come as you are!
SUNDAY- Celebration Gathering - 10AM
MONDAY- ‘REFRESH’ worship night- 6-8PM - childcare available so all can engage- but please DM if you are joining so we can plan! It’s going to be a beautiful time in His presence! ❤️👏🙏

Well that was FUN!!! 🙌👏🥳🎉Thanks Sunshine Ridge community () for bringing our communities together for this picnic, and time together in the park! We are united in Jesus and that is such a gift! To do life together is beautiful and necessary and we’re thankful for your community and connection! 🙏❤️🙌!
Well done Pan on winning the epic “rock, paper, scissor showdown!!” Thanks Donna for bringing the fun vibes! Thank you to everyone who shared how Jesus had been meeting you in your need and revealing his love to and through you! What incredible stories filled with his grace and passionate pursuit of his people! God is so GOOD!

YAY!! PICNIC IN THE PARK THIS SUNDAY- MAY 17th, 11-1PM! 🙌🙌🙌🥳🥳🥳
Join us at Queen’s Park, New Westminster- picnic shelter #1 for a great time of connection, play and fun! We are grateful to be joining with our local Soma family, and the whole Sunshine Ridge community for this fun time! Bring your own lunch and we will provide snacks and drinks!
P.s don’t forget your lawn games, chairs if you like, and wet gear for kiddos should they want to play in the splash park! Any questions please DM- otherwise can’t wait to see you there!

He is a FAITHFUL GOD! We were grateful to celebrate this yesterday with the beautiful dedication of Eliana - her very name meaning “God has answered our prayers”! Praise God.. He does! But maybe you are in the waiting- in the tension of not yet! This is real and hard! But know that He is a faithful God who wants to be in close relationship with us- a God who will journey with us through it all and never leave us! Who will sustain, provide and guide us! He wants to speak to you! Waiting is hard but knowing who you are waiting on and trusting in is everything! We were reminded through Joel’s message that God has a plan for all time, that we are on a journey towards Him, that he will eventually restore all things, wipe away every tear, there will be no more waiting or longing or death-and He invites us daily as we journey with him to surrender our often disordered desires, to receive the better desires and hopes from Him. Ones that bring life in all its abundance! He is a Good God! One who wants a relationship of delight with his people!!
We are grateful that God has given us community to walk alongside through all of life’s ups and downs, to care for, support and encourage one another in our journey with Jesus. We were never meant to walk alone! We need one another and this Sunday was a beautiful reminder of this reality!
Thank you to all who served so faithfully to make Jesus known and build up our community in love! What a gift! 🙏❤️🙌

Excited to celebrate the gift of life this Sunday as acknowledge, hold space and honour Mothers, mentors, care givers, spiritual mothers and all the roles in between that help the next generation to thrive! We acknowledge this day can bring many emotions from joy to pain, and often both as we hold the tension of the brokenness of this life -what is and what is not yet. We bless all the women on this day with love and that God would draw close whatever season you are in. You are loved! ❤️🙏

We are also excited to stand with Kevin and Diana as they dedicate and bless their precious baby to God this Sunday!❤️🎉🙏 hope to see you there- 10am at the Centre

Children are a gift from God, each unique and special to him and to our world. We want to be a community that helps families to thrive- seeking ways to support one another as we learn to put Jesus at the centre of all of life, including how we parent, mentor and disciple our children. This verse is from today’s daily reading in our 2 year plan that you can follow along with here citylightsdailyreadibg.ca. We have been created with a need for relationship with our God- Yahweh! Reading, knowing and obeying His word is a way we deepen our understanding and intimacy with God. He is not distant-he desires us to know and walk with him. Our response to knowing our Saviour God is PRAISE! He is worthy of all our praise and regardless of our feelings, the truth of who He is and what he has and will do remains! We stand upon this truth that He is who He says He is- that He is faithful and trustworthy- and declare it with our praise, actions and lives!
We pray that you turn to his word, find Him as you seek Him, and feel his embrace today! Try turning your thoughts and words to praise Him today! You are so loved and He is so worthy of your praise! ❤️🙏🙌

COMPASSION SUNDAY WAS AWESOME!! 🙏❤️❤️🎉🎉Thanks to Grant from for sharing with us the hope and empowerment taking place in lives of children across the globe because of Compassions incredible work, and the sponsorships and partnerships of individuals and churches! The gift and beauty of sponsoring a child was shared - knowing that it has real impact to help a child overcome the barriers and challenges of poverty and bring transformation to their lives, their families and their communities! These children are the leaders of tomorrow and we know that God delights in each and every one!! The relational journey sponsors can have with their sponsees is so exciting and to get to witness first hand the impact you are having in supporting a family is truly inspiring! shared her gift of music with us alongside passionately and powerfully sharing about her experience with Compassion, her journey of trusting God through all the storms and seasons of life- and calling us to look to the God of all hope- his steadfast, loving, compassionate character and nature- to once again “Arise with Hope”!

THANK YOU & FAREWELL to our wonderful interim Pastor/ Overseer Seth! Through Seth and Nicki, we have been encouraged, challenged, and blessed over these past 9 months. Your steady, resilient and humble leadership has been so valuable to our Body. You have impacted our lives and helped us to look to Jesus as our true Shepherd and guide. Thank you for demonstrating what it means to listen and obey! We bless and release you into all the wonderful adventures with Jesus ahead knowing and trusting in his love, faithfulness and provision!
