Glorifying Jesus Locally and Globally

06/04/2026

Come, Holy Spirit, mighty rushing Wind, sweep through the streets of Metro Vancouver.

From the towers of downtown to the valleys of the Fraser. From the North Shore mountains to the Surrey fields. From Burnaby's bustling hearts to Richmond's quiet corners.

We lift up a generation before You. The youth and young adults of this city, navigating a world of noise, isolation, and endless scrolling, carrying hidden burdens of anxiety, loneliness, and aching questions. They are searching for meaning in a sea of distractions, longing for love in places that leave them hollow.

Holy Spirit, disrupt their summer with Heaven's interruption. In these months of longer days and open skies. Pierce the fog of indifference. Shatter the lies of the enemy. Let divine appointments unfold in coffee shops on Commercial Drive,
At sunset on Kitsilano Beach, In the quiet of Stanley Park's trails,in crowded buses, Skytrain cars, and late-night conversations.

Release dreams and visions upon the young, as You promised.

Let Jesus step out of the pages of history and into their reality. Not as a distant figure, but as the living, breathing King of love. Worthy of their worship, the healer of their deepest wounds, the only one who satisfies the soul's unquenchable thirst.

Draw them to Your church Lord!
Not to religion or performance, but to authentic family.

To communities in East Van warehouses and suburban living rooms, in downtown sanctuaries and storefront gatherings,
Where Your presence dwells and broken people find belonging.

Convict hearts of sin—not with crushing shame, but with the tender, relentless kindness that leads to repentance.

Expose the hidden things that breed death:
The secret addictions, the sexual brokenness, the striving, the pride, the numbness, the despair.

Break every chain with Your resurrection power.

Replace despair with joy, shame with sonship, isolation with family.

Raise up labourers for this harvest. Youth upon youth, friend to friend, unashamed, on fire, carrying Your presence into every high school, every university campus, every workplace, every friend group, every home.

Holy Spirit, let this summer be marked by salvation, by radical surrender, by tears of freedom, by baptisms of water and Holy Spirit.

Let a holy rebellion against darkness rise in Metro Vancouver. Let a generation encounter Jesus and never be the same.

In the mighty, matchless name of Jesus, we pray.
Amen.

06/04/2026

Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, we come before Your throne of grace with open hearts, desperate for a sovereign move of Your Spirit in our lives, our region, our city, and our nation. We invite You, Holy Spirit, to fill us afresh, to pray through us with groanings too deep for words, and to activate every heavenly reality that You have ordained for the earth.

We declare that the earth is Yours and the fullness thereof (Psalm 24:1). We cry out “Oh, that You would rend the heavens and come down, that the mountains might quake at Your presence” (Isaiah 64:1). Come down, Holy Spirit, and shake everything that can be shaken, so that only Your unshakeable Kingdom remains (Hebrews 12:26–28). We align with the promise, “Yet once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens” (Haggai 2:6), and we receive the shifting that releases the Desire of All Nations and fills this house with glory (Haggai 2:7).

Lord, we ask for the illumination of the Kingdom within us and among us. Jesus, You taught us to pray, “Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10). So we boldly decree: Let the government of heaven invade our region, our city, and our nation. Let righteousness, peace, and joy in the Holy Spirit (Romans 14:17) become the atmosphere that transforms every street, every home, every heart. Holy Spirit, open our eyes to see the unseen realm, that we might walk by faith and not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7), radiating the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ (2 Corinthians 4:6).

We release the same Spirit that brooded over the waters at creation, that split the Red Sea and made a way where there was no way (Exodus 14:21–22). We release the shout that brought down Jericho’s walls (Joshua 6:20), the fire that fell on Carmel and turned a nation back to God (1 Kings 18:38–39), and the river of life that flows from the temple and brings healing wherever it goes (Ezekiel 47:9). We activate the decree of the Lord: “I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions” (Joel 2:28). Let the latter rain every day transforming our cities into gardens of Your presence.

Father, we pray for a seismic shift that alters the spiritual landscape of our region. Just as You shook the prison foundations at Philippi, breaking chains and opening doors (Acts 16:25–26), shake the foundations of darkness, addiction, unbelief, and injustice until every captive is set free. When the apostles prayed, “the place where they were assembled together was shaken; and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit, and they spoke the word of God with boldness” (Acts 4:31). Let our prayer gatherings, our homes, and our worship become epicenters of such a shaking that boldness, miracles, and conversions erupt. Let the wind of Pentecost blow again (Acts 2:2–4) and ignite a fire that no power can quench, a fire of holiness, unity, and extravagant love.

We decree that the dry bones of our nation shall live (Ezekiel 37:5–6). Command the breath of God to enter the slain that they may stand on their feet as a vast army. Where there is division, speak unity; where there is death, speak resurrection life. We prophesy to the four winds: “Come, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live!” Let the Spirit’s breath turn the valley of despair into a parade of hope, for “not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the Lord of hosts” (Zechariah 4:6).

Jesus, You declared, “And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself” (John 12:32). We lift You high, King of Glory. Let every knee bow and every tongue confess that You are Lord, to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:10–11). We pray that the Kingdom would be so brilliantly illuminated through our lives that the light becomes irresistible, drawing multitudes to the glory of God. As the prophet Habakkuk foresaw, “the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea” (Habakkuk 2:14). We claim this over our city and nation right now. Let the knowledge of Your glory break out in schools, businesses, government, media, arts, and families. Let the demonstration of signs and wonders confirm the word of Your grace (Mark 16:20) until entire communities fall under the weight of Your manifest presence.

We pray for a comprehensive shift—from curse to blessing, from sickness to health, from poverty to provision, from chaos to divine order. Let the creation itself, which groans and labors with birth pangs, experience the revealing of the sons and daughters of God (Romans 8:19–22). Bring the alignment of heaven’s economy, heaven’s justice, and heaven’s creativity to our region. Let the Spirit of wisdom and revelation flood the church, that we may know the hope of our calling and the riches of the glory of Your inheritance in the saints (Ephesians 1:17–18). We break every veil, every stronghold, every false ideology that blinds minds, by the power of the blood of Jesus.

We recall Your ancient promise: “If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14). We humble ourselves, Lord. We repent on behalf of our land for rejecting Your truth, for self-sufficiency, for shedding innocent blood. Forgive us and heal our land. Let a fountain for sin and uncleanness be opened (Zechariah 13:1) and sweep across our nation in a tidal wave of repentance and refreshing.

Holy Spirit, activate the angels to do God’s bidding (Psalm 103:20–21). We join the heavenly hosts in worship, declaring, “Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in” (Psalm 24:7). Let the King of glory march into every domain, establishing His reign. We tear down the gates of hell by the power of the keys of the Kingdom (Matthew 16:18–19), binding the strongman and plundering his goods, releasing the captives into their destiny.

Lord, we ask for the spirit of prophecy to rest upon this region, that every man, woman, and child may encounter the living God who sees them and loves them. Let dreams and visions invade our sleep and our waking hours, that the testimony of Jesus would be the spirit of prophecy (Revelation 19:10). May the voice of the Lord thunder over our waters, over our valleys, over our cities, full of majesty and power, breaking cedars and shaking wildernesses, until all in His temple cry, “Glory!” (Psalm 29:3–9).

Father, we thank You that the glory of the latter house shall be greater than the former (Haggai 2:9). We contend for the greater works Jesus promised (John 14:12). By Your Spirit, we release the full activation of heaven’s purposes on earth, so that our region becomes a prototype of the Kingdom—a city set on a hill that cannot be hidden (Matthew 5:14). We speak life, blessing, and transformation over our land, declaring that “the earnest expectation of the creation eagerly waits for the revealing of the sons of God” (Romans 8:19). Let the church arise in radiant light, for our light has come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon us (Isaiah 60:1). Nations will come to that light, and kings to the brightness of our rising.

We seal this prayer in the unshakable name of Jesus Christ, the King of kings and Lord of lords, believing that the Spirit and the Bride say, “Come!” and that whosoever will, let them take the water of life freely (Revelation 22:17). Come, Holy Spirit, and shift our world. Amen.

A Prayer for the Righteous Judgment of God to be Established

Come, Holy Spirit, Spirit of Truth and Fire, You who search the depths of God and the hearts of all people, we welcome You here. We still our souls before You,
and we lift up our lives, our homes, and this land we inhabit.

Metro Vancouver and the city of Burnaby before the throne of grace.

Father, Your Son taught us to pray with audacious faith:
“Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”

Right now, we anchor our hearts to that promise. We declare that the perfect, righteous judgment of Heaven—where justice and mercy kiss, where truth silences every lie, and where love casts out all fear will be established here, in our lives and in this region, just as it is in Heaven.

Holy Spirit, begin with us.
Let Your righteous judgment start in our own hearts.
Shine the light of Your truth into every hidden place.

Expose any agreement with darkness, any compromise, any idol. Convict us where we have called evil good, and good evil.
Align our thoughts, our words, and our desires with the flawless standards of Heaven. Let the verdict of the Cross—mercy triumphing over judgment—
be our only plea, and let the power of the Resurrection
make us living demonstrations of Your justice and grace.

Now, Holy Spirit, stretch forth Your hand over this land.
Over the towers of downtown Vancouver, the neighbourhoods of Burnaby, the North Shore mountains, the Fraser River, and every street and skyline: let the righteous order of Heaven be released.

We declare that what is bound in Heaven is bound here: bind the spirits of addiction, despair, greed, and unbelief that hold hearts captive.
We declare that what is loosed in Heaven is loosed here:
loose waves of repentance, purity, holy love, and the fear of the Lord over every community, from Metrotown to SFU,
from the Port to the Pacific Spirit Park.

Let the government of God become the clear reality.
Where there is confusion, declare Your clarity, Lord.
Where there is injustice against the vulnerable, release Heaven’s righteous verdict of protection and vindication.

Let the hidden works of darkness be dismantled, and let the innocent be shielded. Let the Church across these cities rise in unity and holiness, praying and walking in step with Your Spirit,
so that Your will is done in our streets as perfectly and joyfully as it is done by the angels in Heaven.

Spirit of Burning, we ask You not for a gentle word, but for the full, redemptive verdict of the King.
Let it fall on Metro Vancouver and Burnaby until righteousness dwells, peace flourishes, and Jesus is honoured as Lord over all.

We seal this prayer with the blood of Jesus, who will return to judge the living and the dead
and whose kingdom shall have no end.
Amen.

A Prayer for a Holy Spirit Outpouring over Burnaby and Metro Vancouver

Heavenly Father, Lord of the harvest and Giver of every good gift, we come before You with one heart and one cry:
Let Your Holy Spirit fall upon Burnaby and the cities of Metro Vancouver as He fell on the day of Pentecost.

We remember how the disciples waited in unity, and suddenly there came from heaven the sound of a mighty rushing wind,
filling the whole house where they were sitting.

Father, send that wind again!
Let the breath of heaven sweep through every neighbourhood —
from Metrotown to Brentwood, from the Heights to Edmonds,
across the Fraser River into Vancouver, Surrey, Richmond, Coquitlam, the North Shore, and every corner of this region.
Let no street, no tower, no home be left untouched.

Lord Jesus, baptize Your Church afresh with the Holy Spirit and with fire. Rest upon Your people with tongues of flame, unlocking heavenly languages of prayer and praise, and igniting a boldness that cannot be silenced.

We ask for the Spirit of wisdom and revelation to know You deeply, and for the power to be Your witnesses in Burnaby, in Metro Vancouver, and to the ends of the earth.

Holy Spirit, fall on every people group and language gathered in this gateway region.

Convince the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment.
Let conviction sweep through schools, high-rises, corporate offices, and filming sets;
into family rooms, university campuses, temples, and places where no one has yet spoken the name of Jesus.

Draw multitudes into genuine repentance and saving faith.
Today, in this hour, we ask for salvation —a great harvest of souls running to the Lamb,
crying out, “What must we do to be saved?” And as they believe, let the promise be for them and for their children, and for all who are far off — everyone the Lord our God calls to Himself.

Pour out Your Spirit on all flesh, just as You declared.
Let sons and daughters prophesy; let young people see visions and old people dream dreams; let signs, wonders, and miracles break forth as a normal part of everyday life.

Come, Holy Spirit, like the rushing tide in Burrard Inlet and the powerful current of the Fraser —unstoppable, life-giving, transforming the spiritual climate over this land.

Make Burnaby and Metro Vancouver a fountain of revival that spills north into the mountains, south into the Valley, and far beyond the Pacific Rim.

We consecrate ourselves to You now. Fill us, overflow in us, and do what only You can do.
We ask everything in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for the glory of the Father, in the unquenchable power of the Holy Spirit.

Amen and amen.
