This Sunday, Apr 12, the second Sunday of Easter, at 10:30am, we'll begin an exploration of the storming, forming, norming, and reforming in the early church as the Spirit guides those communities into their companionship with Jesus of Nazareth, the Creator's Christ, in expanding and enhancing the Commonwealth of God. We'll be considering a part of the apostle Peter's sermon recorded in Acts 2:14a, 22-32. Thanks to all who contributed in a variety of ways to the Jamaican Relief benefit on Saturday afternoon, especially the Urbana and Deep Cove big bands and coordinator Rita Dickson. We put together a variety of funding sources and raised over $2500. That will be matched dollar for dollar by the Canadian government, so over $5,000 goes to the Jamaican Red Cross/Red Crescent.
