What is your purpose in life?
The purpose in life is called Purusartha / Purpose of Being.

There are 4 goals in a Xakta / Shakta’s life:
1. Mukti / Liberation
To be freed from this cycle of birth and death powered by Karmic actions. To get to Mukti there is a Path & to be on this path at all times is important. This is the MOST important goal to focus on as long as you are alive.
2. Dharma / Law
To follow the Rules & Lifestyle of our ancestors & propagate it far and wide. Including having lots of children to carry Dharma forward & taking care & contributing to the community, culture and society as a whole.
3. Artha / Wealth
To pursue wealth, gains and profits from your honest and hand work. Xaktas are by nature Capitalists & not lazy goddess Communists.
4. K**a / Pleasure
To pursue pleasure as part of lifestyle. To make it a purpose instead of a distraction. Taking pleasure in serving Gods like a Bhakti Yogi is also pursing K**a. So is enjoying time with good quality friends. Avoid those who are purposeless in life.

Don’t be purposeless in life. It will lead to mental issues as you get older. Follow Purusartha & develop a serious daily spiritual pursuit called Sadhana including Dhyana, Japa & Puja. This will help you grow and bloom in the right path. But you have to do it & not leave your Sadhana for “later”!

The first is an image that depicts Moksha /Mukti in Sanatana Dharma. The second is an image of a Sanyasi doing meditation while youngsters pay their respects.

The third & fourth are depicting Dharma activities like following traditions & prayers & take care of our aging parents and elders.

The fifth and sixth images show examples of Artha or wealth like Gold bars and fruits 🍅 of your labour.

The seventh and eighth images show K**a related activities like Sri Krishna playing with his friends when grazing cows, or European colonizers enjoying an Elephant fight, in a Gymkhana club in India. Pursuing pleasure is a perk of being born a human & a purpose of life as well.

The final image is of Gautam Buddha to remind you - the main purpose of life - Freedom / Mukti.

Japa Mala / Prayer Beads are essential part of Xakta / Shakta lifestyle.

The Mala have 108 prayer beads plus the head bead called the sumeru, mother bead, guru bead or stupa.

The Japa Mala beads are made with a variety of materials based on the deity being worshipped.

From Tulti wood, to sandalwood, Rudraksha seeds, polished stones or crystals to bones - there are many types of Japa Mala.

I do Japa three times per day since my Brahmachari days. It took me a long time to become consistent. Once in the morning, once at noon and last one at sunset.

Japa Mala has been an incredible tool in developing my spiritual strength.

Regardless of whether you are a Brahmachari or a Girhastha, I highly recommend you start doing daily Japas, as that will help you build spiritual discipline.

Ashrama / Stages of Life is possibly the most important aspect of Xakta / Shakta Dharma.

There are four stages in life & if we follow them at the appropriate time in our life - we are living a Dharmic lifestyle.

The First stage is Brahmachari / Student from birth to marriage

The second is Girhastha/ Householder from marriage through retirement.

The third is Vanaprastha/ Forest Dweller from retirement to renunciation.

The last is Sanyasa/ Recluse from renounciation to death.

One cannot jump any of these stages with the exception; you can jump from any of the stages straight to Sanyasa, as in this stage you focus on Mukti 100% of the time.

Mukti is the ONLY goal for a Shakta / Xakta & therefore it’s allowed to skip all non-essential stages and become a Sanyasi anytime you want.

The first image shows the four stages of Ashrama. The second, third, fourth and fifth images shows the different stages separately.

Finally, the last image shows a religious guy who didn’t follow his ancestors way of life, Ashrama, and today has become like Rakshashas, bringing killing and destruction to their own people. It’s important to do things on time or else muhurtum/right time/ opportunity passes by and it becomes a complete waste of a lifetime.

Samsara / Xongkhar is the cycle of life & death and life again, that we live within Prakriti /this planet.

Samsara / Xongkhar is tied to English words like Karma, Reincarnation, Transmigration etc. as it includes everything that the soul experiences in this planet.

The goal of a Xakta / Shakta is to get out of Samsara once & for all. Well, at least to get the opportunity to get out. This opportunity is called Mukti / Nirvana / Liberation.

There are those who chose to NOT get out of Samsara / Xongkhar even after they become Mukti / Enlightened because they want to help others get out - they are called Buddhisatvas.

The first image is of how the soul moves from one body to another in different lifetimes. Next is a Bhutanese mandala that shows the different places where the soul may end up being reborn. The third image is of how the spirit stays the same as the body transforms from child to elder and back to child again.

The last image is the best! It shows Krishna’s life - his Samsara. Here he is bathing & cavorting with the gopis / consorts in the lake.

Maa Durga is also known as Mahisasura Mardini (Killer of Demon Mahisasura).

Maa Durga is the elegant radiant form of Maa K**akhya.

She manifests as a young beautiful woman, with many arms each with weapons & riding a fully grown lion (or a lion tiger hybrid). She is seen using a spear & killing a demon which emerges from a Buffalo.

Maa Durga is also called Chandi. She is undefeated and fearless in battle, yet not looking bloody and vengeful like Maa Kali.

The Chandi Path (Chandi’s Scripture) is the most important religious text for Shaktas.

Durga Puja is the biggest festival for Shaktas regardless of cultural differences.

During Durga Puja, we offer animal sacrifices to Mother Goddess including Goats and Buffaloes.

Who is Parambrahma in Vedic Shaktism as well as in Xokti Ta**ra Dharma (XTD)? What does the Devi Bhagwat Purana say?

The Devi Bhagavatam says - SHE is Mahamaya / Bhubaneswari / Prakriti / Planet Earth.

ONLY SHE / Maa Mahamaya can decide whether we are ready to see the “real” world devoid of Maya/illusions - based on our spiritual works in this lifetime. If you are not ready - she will not show you.

In most cultures where Shakti is worshipped, her devotees do Bhakti Yoga in order to get her “blessings”.

Most of these Shaktas don’t get blessings from Dewi because they have NOT done any spiritual works to prepare themselves for what SHE might show.

Just going to temple and begging the Goddess regularly is NOT Bhakti Yoga.

Regardless of the path a Xakta/ Shakta takes, doing Sadhana (daily ritual spiritual exercises) is the foundation for changing oneself & getting ready for the Guxani / Dewi / Mother Goddess to show you the way forward.

Surya /Surjya/ Sun God is the most powerful and easiest to see deity on this planet.

HE is an important deity of the Xakta / Shakta traditions and part of daily Sadhana.

He is the easiest to please by simply offering Mantra, water and hibiscus 🌺 everyday.

In ancient K**arupa / Assam region, there were hundreds of Sun temples along with Shiva, Shakti & Ganesha temples.

A few images of Surya from rock cut temple idols to His Javanese image to Him and his two wives.

Sri Ganesha / Gones Baba has a special place in Shakta/Xakta Ta**ra Dharma, as he is the manifestation of the second born child of Guxani/Shakti in the form/rupa of Parvati.

He is the remover of obstacles & patron of art and music. He can give many Siddhis & he has the highest level of devotion to Maa Shakti.

Almost all Dharmic religions & cultures pay obeisances to Lord Ganesha.

Ganesha also represents ALL animal beings that are on the planet/Prakriti.

Here Ganesha is with his mother as a kid, next the whole family out for picnic including Nandi, third is a family get together but Shakti is in two manifestations - behind Shiva who is at the centre. The last two are Ganesha with his two wives and the Ganesh Yantra.

Daily Ganesh Mantra Japa or simply chanting Ganesh mantras during daily puja - is very beneficial.

Dangoria Baba / Shiva is Deuta / Father/ Param Guru in Xakta (Shakta) Ta**ra Dharma.

Shiva Shakti Dharma in all its manifestations have been part of the spiritual religious foundation of almost all indigenous cultures worldwide; from Bharatam to Chinese to Slavic to Natives (Indians) in North America.

In Xokti Ta**ra Dharma we understand that all of what is happening around us is happening inside the mind of our Param Guru. He is in deep meditation and we manifested inside his consciousness.

A few images of Shiva - some alone and others with his consort Shakti / Guxani / Mother Goddess. My favourite is the last one.

Ta***ic texts are usually set to the conversation between Shiva & Shakti.

In XTD Ta**ra texts are not important. The most challenging part of being a practicing Xakta Tantrika is keeping oneself bound by spiritual practices throughout the day, rituals, preferably at the same time everyday. We call it Sadhana & the practitioners as a Sadhaka/ Xadok. This is the first step towards learning about Mukti / Freedom / Liberty.

Maa Tripura Sundari is the most famous and widely worshipped of the Dasa Maha Vidyas or the 10 Manifestations of Mother Goddess K**akhya.

She has her own lineage called Sri Vidya who only worship her in peaceful imagery or in Yantras.

Aii K**akhya herself is worshipped most commonly in Maa Shodashi form, which is as a 16 year young girl.

Maa Tripura Sundari is also called Maa Lalita Tripura Sundari or the most Beautiful Mother Goddess of the three lokas / planes/ worlds. The most beautiful & the mother of all and consort of Dangoria Baba Shiva.

A few images of Maa Tripura Sundari, Maa Shadoshi and the Sri Yantra.

This brings to end the series on the Dasa Maha Vidyas or the 10 manifestations of Mother Goddess K**akhya, who is the Yoni/Vagina of this planet 🌎 and it’s most sacred land.

In Xokti Ta**ra Dharma (XTD) Goddess K**akhya is the supreme Queen Mother Goddess.
