A glimpse from our BMIS In-House Fundraising Event held on June 27, 2026, where our community came together in support of our mosque building project and pledged $71,925. May Allah (SWT) accept everyone's contributions and reward them abundantly.

Alhamdulillah, Baitul Mukarram Islamic Society (BMIS) has purchased a religious property in Burnaby, BC for $3,000,000 CAD to establish our permanent mosque and Islamic community centre, In shā’ Allāh.

By the grace of Allah and the generosity of our community, $1,000,000 has already been paid.

Our next payment of $250,000 is due on August 14, 2026.

• The janazah is confirmed for Monday (Monday, July 13).

Schedule:
• 1:30 p.m. – Zuhr Prayer (Surrey Jamea Masjid, 12407 72 Ave, Surrey, BC V3W 0S9)
• 1:45 p.m. – Janazah immediately after Zuhr
• 2:45 to 3:00 p.m. – Arrival at Bakerview Memorial Cemetery (920 272nd Street, Langley Township, BC V4W 2P8)
