Dear Friends and Neighbours of Kilbride United Church,

We are excited to be celebrating the 163rd Anniversary of the Church. It was originally built in1860 and was located on #8 Side Road. About 1878 it was moved to its present location to be closer to the centre of the village.

We invite you to join us for an Anniversary Service on Sunday, October 22, 2023, at 9:30 am. We have a special service planned with light refreshments and fellowship to follow.

Sunday, October 8th –9:30 am at Kilbride, regular ongoing Sunday service time

Thank you all for your patience over the summer with our usual service sharing with Carlisle United Church in July and August and now while Rev. Allison recuperates from her surgery. We are very glad to be back in Kilbride with a supply minister. It is also our hope that you will join us this Sunday and going forward. If you are new to the Church, we welcome you and hope that you will consider ‘trying us out’. Kilbride Church needs your support.

We have lots of plans for the fall.

Sunday, October 22nd will be the Church’s 163rd Anniversary. We have been here since 1860! A special service honouring the Church is being planned. Everyone is welcome.

November 18th will be a Makers Market and Bake Sale. Please join us for some early holiday shopping and delicious baking. Detail will follow shortly.

Put your thinking caps on for the 2nd Annual Festival of Floats in hounour of Maureen Trenkler on December 2nd. Enter a float, talk to Santa, talk to your neighbours and friends and enjoy some refreshments. Details will follow shortly.

Online sales have started on the Carlisle Church website. Please support Kilbride Church and buy some beautiful geraniums or begonias for your garden. Talk to your friends and neighbours. Order online at www.carlisleuc.ca or email us at [email protected] to place an order or if you have any questions. Just write Kilbride in the “Add a note to seller” square. Deadline for orders is May 10th. Pick up date will be May 18th at Kilbride United Church and you will be contacted about a time or to make other arrangements.
