Join us tonight for “A Church With No Home,” a powerful event presented by Open Doors Canada here at Pineland Baptist Church.

Step inside the story of the persecuted church and see how God is working among believers who have lost homes, safety, and comfort, but not their faith.

This evening will include immersive storytelling, prayer, and reflection on how we can stand with our brothers and sisters around the world.

As our church continues the “Who We Are and What We Do” series, this night reminds us what it means to live out our mission of reconciliation—courageously and compassionately.

The unity we share in Christ isn’t limited by geography or culture. It pulses in underground churches, displacement camps, and whispered prayers across the globe. That’s why we’re hosting Church With No Home—an evening with Open Doors Canada to hear stories of faith under pressure—stories of our brothers and sisters in Christ who are worshiping in secret, suffering in silence, and standing firm in places we may never go.

I therefore, a prisoner for the Lord, urge you to walk in a manner worthy of the calling to which you have been called. (Ephesians 4:1)
Paul doesn’t plead for release—he pleads for alignment. His chains testify that the gospel is worth suffering for. To walk worthy is to let your life reflect the weight of what you’ve received: adoption, redemption, mercy. This calling is not earned, but it is weighty. Where does your life need to realign with the grace that called you?

Paul’s chains aren’t a detour—they’re a declaration. The gospel is worth more than comfort and freedom. To walk worthy is to let your life balance the scale—grace received, grace reflected. How does your daily walk reflect the weight of God’s calling?
