Watoto Canada Watoto brings hope and healing to vulnerable women and children in Uganda and South Sudan. We aim at the pain in our communities and invite you to join us.

Watoto is a holistic care program that was initiated as a response to the overwhelming number of vulnerable women and children in Uganda. It is positioned to rescue individuals, raise each one as a leader in their chosen sphere of life so that they in turn will rebuild their nation. The Watoto model involves providing physical care, medical intervention including HIV/AIDS treatment, education - fo

rmal and technical, trauma counselling and spiritual discipleship. We exist to raise the next generation of African leaders, by pursuing excellence in academic and practical skills, integrity in conduct and moral values, so that each one becomes a responsible and a productive citizen. We are so proud of how many students have been educated in the Watoto classrooms over the past three decades.
But over time, these classrooms have seen some wear and tear.

We believe that excellent environments inspire excellent thinking, so we strive to create an excellent space for our students to learn and grow. And we know you feel the same. So today, we are asking you to help us renovate them.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers at Watoto, and all the women involved in caring for Watoto.

From the Neighbourhood Mothers who are working at building better futures for their families, the Nannie’s at Baby Watoto caring for each of the babies with love for the tiniest ones, to the Watoto House Mothers raising vulnerable children with love and grace like no other.

Thank you for the sacrifices you have made, your faithfulness in caring for these children and your love that is poured out everyday!
We love you and thank you for your heart and love today, and everyday!
