What if Jesus passed by today and said, “Follow me”?

That was the call Matthew heard—and it exposed a deeper question: are we only close to religion, or are we truly following Christ? In Matthew 9:9–13, we were reminded that Jesus sees sinners, calls them by mercy, welcomes them with grace, and changes the direction of their lives.

Like Matthew, may we rise, follow Him, and lead others to the grace we have found in Christ.

In Luke 7:36–50, we were reminded of the contrast between the woman and the Pharisee. The woman came to Jesus with humility, gratitude, and love, while the Pharisee judged her and failed to see his own need for grace.

Jesus taught that we are all debtors before God. Though our debts may seem different, none of us can pay the debt of our sin. Yet through His grace, our debt is forgiven in Christ.

Those who know they have been forgiven much will love much. May our hearts respond to His grace with humble gratitude, joyful worship, and wholehearted love for Jesus.

The Good Shepherd is still seeking the lost.

As we reflected on Luke 15:1–7, we were reminded that God's grace welcomes sinners, pursues the wandering, and celebrates every repentant heart. Having experienced His grace, may we also share His heart for those who are far from God.

Let us love our neighbours, make disciples, and participate in God's mission of bringing the lost home.

Two Sundays. Two powerful reminders from God’s Word.

Last Sunday, through Luke 22:39–46, we were reminded to surrender in prayer and trust God even in difficult moments. Today, through Matthew 18:1–6, we learned that true greatness in God’s kingdom begins with humility and childlike faith.

Grateful for every worship, every lesson, and every heart being shaped by His presence.

Happy Mother’s Day to all the incredible mothers whose love, courage, and faith shape generations.

Like Jochebed, the mother of Moses, mothers often make sacrifices in silence, trusting God even when the future is uncertain. Jochebed’s faith and bravery protected a child who would later change a nation.

Today, we celebrate every mother who nurtures with strength, prays with faith, and loves without limits. Your impact is greater than you know.
