Brockville Freedom Connection A non-profit, grass roots, group who assists in the resettlement of refugees in our area.

We formed in the summer of 2019 and have been growing and evolving ever since. We have had the pleasure and privilege of welcoming two newcomers to our area and helping them in their first year of resettlement. We are presently working on a family reunification and are gearing up to prepare for new applications. We look forward to the end of Covid so our processes can get moving once again!

Please join us for an evening of delicious food and drinks and fabulous entertainment to support LGBTQ+ refugee resettlement. Capital Rainbow Refuge supports and mentors several (over a dozen) resettlement groups across Eastern Ontario and the Ottawa Capital area, including Brockville Freedom Connection.

From the link below, you can order tickets only for the entertainment, tickets plus food and/or drinks, or have a special night out and order tickets to go and enjoy the party live in Ottawa!

Please remember that if you're going to enjoy in Brockville area, you must order from the Brockville tickets dropdown menu. Please note that the Brockville menu is a little different:

We are offering delicious meals from Shawarma Garden which include a mixed meats platter and a vegetarian (Falafel) platter. Platters also include: salad, garlic roasted potatoes, rice, garlic sauce, hummus, paprika, and olive oil and pita. Dessert is baklava.
Food is Halal.

We are also offering a 4 pak sampler of beer from Arbru Brewery. Sample pack includes an IPA, Lo Lager, Session Lager, and an Amber.

Reach out with any questions. Orders will be taken until the end of this weekend. Food can be delivered to your door by one of our Brockville Freedom Connection team, or you may pick up at the restaurant between 5:45-6:00 if you prefer.

Please sign and share this. It is a heinous act of racial discrimination, that we have had a young refugee mother separated from her husband and baby girl for 3 years without any valid reason, while meanwhile, our government can make room for a heavy influx of refugees from a white Christian country in under 3 months time!!!
