THIS FREE, ONLINE CHRISTIAN MEDITATION COMMUNITY IS A PRAYER MINISTRY OF THE CATHEDRAL CHURCH OF ALL SAINTS IN HALIFAX. 🙏

“We hope all is well with all of you. After a short break, we're ready for a new Christian Meditation series - and you're invited! Each evening features a brief teaching on an aspect of this ancient way of prayer, followed by a time of practice; each session lasts about 45 minutes.

This next 8-part series begins online Thursday, April 23rd, 6:30 pm Atlantic. As always, it's free but you'll need to "register" so we have an accurate email list.

Our teacher this time is Graeme Watson, who presents the teaching of the 14th century spiritual classic The Cloud of Unknowing in a contemporary form. He explains the significance of approaching God through a one-word prayer, and reflects on humility and charity as virtues fundamental to our lives as Christians. (P.S. Graeme is the late husband of Liz Watson, whose reflections, Images of Meditation, we listened to earlier this year. Together, Liz and Graeme have supported many on their meditation journeys.)

ST. James’ ACW is hosting their super spring nickel auction! Bring your nickels to bid on the fabulous items, baking and preserves. Lunch will be served.

If you have any treasures you would like to donate they can be brought to the church on Sunday or brought the night of the auction. A chance to pass on lovely items your ungrateful adult children won’t appreciate or have already told you they don’t want!
