St Pius X Parish Brantford

St Pius X Parish Brantford Mission: Love God. Love Others. Make Disciples. In worship, ministry, and daily life, we seek to welcome outsiders and share the good news of Jesus Christ.

Vision: To be a parish with a heart for those Jesus refers to as “the lost” -- those who have not yet encountered the Father’s love. (We celebrate three Masses each weekend: Saturday @ 5:00pm and Sunday at 9:00am and 11:00am.

People may misunderstand your kindness. They may overlook your effort. They may never fully see the quiet ways you tried to love well. But keep loving anyway. “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.” — Galatians 6:9

The world teaches us to give only when it is appreciated. Jesus teaches us to love because He first loved us. Keep showing grace. Keep choosing compassion. Keep reflecting Christ... even when no one notices. If your heart has been needing encouragement lately, our devotionals, peaceful worship playlists, and Guided Moments with God audio experiences are all linked in bio. Thank you for helping us continue sharing hope, prayer, and peace online each day.

The Church dedicates the month of June to the Sacred Heart of Jesus—the living sign of Christ’s infinite love for humanity.
In the Heart of Jesus, we encounter both the source of Divine Mercy and the call to love as He loves. Rooted in the Gospel, devotion to the Sacred Heart draws us to contemplate the personal, healing, and transforming love of Christ. Please read our Bishop’s pastoral letter found in our bulletin and prayerfully join us in this devotion.

We invite you to say at the beginning of each day this prayer;
O Jesus, through the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I offer you my prayers, works, joys and sufferings of this day for all of the intentions of your Sacred Heart, in union with the holy sacrifice of the Mass throughout the world, in thanksgiving for your favours, in reparation for my sins, for the intentions of all my family and friends, and in particular for the intentions of the Holy Father, Amen.

“Let nothing disturb you. Let nothing frighten you.” ✨

In a world filled with noise, fear, and uncertainty, St. Teresa of Avila reminds us to rest our hearts in the unchanging love of God.

Whoever has God lacks nothing. God alone suffices. 🙏

St. Teresa of Avila, pray for us.

Saint Augustine of Hippo‘s words come from personal experience given early life was marked by delay in responding to God.

Born in 354 in North Africa, Augustine spent years pursuing rhetoric, ambition, and a disordered lifestyle rather than the Christian faith of his mother, St Monica. He wrestled with conversion, famously praying, “Grant me chastity and continence—but not yet.”

He was finally baptised at 32 by St Ambrose in Milan and went on to become Bishop of Hippo and one of the most influential theologians in Christian history.

The month of May is the "month which the piety of the faithful is especially dedicated to Our Blessed Lady," and it is the occasion for a "moving tribute of faith and love which Catholics in every part of the world offer to the Queen of Heaven. During this month Christians, both in church and in the privacy of the home, offer up to Mary from their hearts an especially fervent and loving homage of prayer and veneration. In this month, too, the benefits of God's mercy come down to us from her throne in greater abundance".
- (Paul VI: Encyclical on the Month of May, no. 1)

Some battles don’t make you weaker, they reveal what God already placed inside you.

Anyone can praise when life is easy, but it takes deep faith to still pray through pain, worship through silence, and believe while carrying wounds no one sees.

The enemy thought the pressure would destroy you, but God is using it to strengthen you. Every tear, every delay, every hidden struggle is building endurance, faith, and spiritual authority.

You are not defined by what broke you.
You are being refined by it.

God is turning your pain into power, your scars into testimony, and your survival into a weapon that will inspire others to keep going too.
