Thank you all so much! We are incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support, prayers, and generosity you have poured out over the last few months. Whether through fundraising, preparation, or encouragement, your kindness has been a true blessing for our groups.

As the Cadet group heads to Kamp Longview in Alberta and our team prepares for the Hope mission trip in Michigan, your partnership means the world to us. We simply couldn’t do this without you!

As these trips approach in just a few weeks, please continue to pray for both groups and their leaders. We pray for safe and smooth travels, good health, open hearts, and that their hands and spirits will be guided in the work they are doing. Thank you again from the bottom of our hearts for your continued support!

Happy Father’s Day! 🎉 Today, we celebrate the amazing dads and father figures who guide us with wisdom, faith, and love. We also hold space for the hopeful dads-in-waiting. Whether you are praying for your first child, navigating the heartbreak of infertility, or holding onto faith in a higher plan, you are seen and prayed for.

We are privileged to witness the public professions of faith as well as the Lord’s Supper.

Pastor Doug will lead us in worship, focusing on Genesis 50- “God’s Grand Story: Joseph”

COMMUNION AT HOPE: In this sacrament God comes to his people and builds them up in the Christian faith. To prepare for communion Scripture calls us to examine ourselves so that we may truly repent of our sin, believe in Christ, and commit ourselves to walk in obedience. At Hope church, our members participate in the Lord’s Supper after they have made a public profession of their faith. If you are visiting with us today and are a baptized member in good standing in a Bible believing church and you regularly attend the Lord’s Supper in your home congregation—you are invited to partake of the Lord’s supper with us. If you have any questions or need further clarification, please speak to Pastor Doug.

This evening we welcome Pastor Hayden Regeling from First Hamilton CRC to lead our service. He will read from Ephesians 1- “God’s Special Possession”

The first half of the Christian year, from Advent to Pentecost, traces the grand arc of God’s saving action in Jesus Christ. The second half is a long stretch called Ordinary Time - not ordinary in the sense of meaning dull or second-rate, but simply “everyday”. With all of the important celebrations over, Ordinary Time offers the space to find our place in God’s story; we use this time to absorb and fully take in the gospel, allowing it to shape our everyday lives. “I remember the days of long ago; I meditate on all your works and consider what your hands have done.” (Psalm 143:2) adapted from Seeking God’s Face: Praying with the Bible through the Year by Phil Reinders (2010)

Join us this Sunday morning as we gather together to worship our Lord. We are privileged to welcome Pastor Nathan Visser to lead us in worship. He will be focusing on Galatians 3- “Sons, Not Slaves”, On Sunday evening, we will welcome Pastor Bram Blaak to lead our service and he will be reading from Jonah 1- “Jonah Runs to God”.
