David knew the Lord was with him, so when he encountered Goliath on the battlefield, he didn't care about the taunting of the giant. He remained calm even though he was disdained and called names. When David spoke, he made the enemy aware that he only has one weapon and that is the name of the Lord. Then David said to the Philistine, “You come to me with a sword, with a spear, and with a javelin. But I come to you in the name of the LORD of hosts, the God of the armies of Israel, whom you have defied (1 Samuel 17:45).

So brethren, in this world, the strategy of the devil has always been the same. They will ridicule, taunt, slander and accuse the righteous in every way. But your calmness is your best response and that confuses them. They want you to panic and speak by "your own might." Don't fall for that trap. But when you speak, let the Lord know the battle is His alone. For the Lord God has spoken this in His word that "The Lord will fight for you; you need only to be still (Exodus 14:14)."

Just as Goliath fell by the one stone, with all his weapons of war, so shall your enemies who accuse you falsely, whose agenda is to harm you fall down in shame. They will go down the pit and won't rise again. Jesus will fight for you. Don't go ahead of the Lord Almighty, wait for Him!!!

Shalom!
