We are a small church community that meets in a beautiful old building in Brandon Manitoba. Our Sunday School program is bustling as well.

Our Mission is to foster Christian growth, develop our spiritual gifts and engage our local and global community through acts of love, mercy, and justice all for the glory of God. The congregation is great mixture of ages from an active seniors group to a friendly noisy nursery. Come join us for worship and stay for coffee and cookies! Thank you to everyone who could make it out to the celebration service! We looked at God's faithfulness in the Past, the Present, and into the Future! The kids blessed us with song, and we enjoyed time together around cake and ice cream. As we reflected on the future we saw that God is not done telling his story, and we are a part of it! So with God leading the way we continue forward. This coming Sunday we are going to be looking at the prophet Elijah. I asked my son Brayden what I should preach on between the Anniversary service and Christmas and he didn't skip a beat - "Elijah." So this Sunday we will look to Elijah and the widow who was gathering sticks from 1 Kings 17:7-24 . With a sermon titled: "Provision in the Drought". See you Sunday!

Few important Reminders for our 75th Celebration!!!!!
There is an offering on Sunday for Samaritan House - A local Brandon organization helping our community with a food bank, training centre, employment resources, shelter and housing, and a community garden.
Samaritan House was chosen for our 75th celebration because of the impact it has in our community.
There is no Children's worship during the celebration service.
The service on Sunday starts at 10:15am.

We have finished up our series on Joshua and through and through God has shown his faithfulness! He keeps his promises, is true to love and justice and walks with the Israelites even though they are fallen sinful people. Sounds a lot like us. We are blessed to have a faithful God who walks with us and shows us his faithfulness. Seen most directly in the life, death, and resurrection of his son Jesus! Our response to such grace is to say: We will serve the Lord! And then depend on his strength to keep us. This coming Sunday we are going to be Celebrating 75 years of God's faithfulness! I hope you have been inviting your family, friends, and neighbours! Our service will have three movements. Looking at the Past, the Present and the Future. We will focus on Psalm 100:5 as our theme verse! Service starts at 10:15am, with refreshments to follow. See you Sunday.

This past Sunday we looked at Joshua's speech to the Israelites, where he challenged the people to remember God's faithfulness, and their identity in him. Especially as they settle into normal living in the land, and with the influence of opposing gods of adjacent nations. Joshua challenged them: Whom will you serve? As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord. This coming Sunday we take our final look in the book of Joshua, where Israel has the land but the work isn't finished yet. The work of their minds and hearts is still needed! Instead of settling into the land and getting comfortable Joshua calls them to move forward faithful to God and his commandmnets. The future belongs to God, so God's people can move forward faithfully. We will read from Joshua 23:1-8, 24:16-33 with a sermon titled: The God Who Goes Before Us.

This past Sunday we read from Joshua chapter 7, it is a back to reality chapter where Israel is unfaithful to God's covenant. We found that God takes sin seriously but is ultimately faithful in redemption as he acts to bring his people away from destruction and back into healthy relationship, we see that in the life, dead, and resurrection of Jesus who washes us clean. This coming Sunday we are going to skip ahead a few chapters in Joshua to chapter 24 where Joshua gathers Israel together near the end of his life. He begins by telling their story, then he walks them through God's faithfulness. God called, delivered, provided, led, and fought for them. Then Joshua challenges the people as he says "Choose this day whom you will serve." We will read Joshua 24:1-15, with a sermon titled - "Choose Whom You Will Serve." See you Sunday!

Last Sunday we walked around the walls of Jericho, looking at how God's ways of working are faithful and often look different than the path forward we may think is best! Thanks Joy for getting us all to walk around the pews in the children's moment, memorable! This coming Sunday we will read Joshua chapter 7. We will look to the mission of faith as requiring holiness, honesty, and communal responsibility. After Israel experiences a massive victory at Jericho, they are defeated in which seemed like the easiest battle in the world. Because of that defeat, the people ask "What went wrong?" We will read Joshua 7:1-26. With a sermon titled "When We Get it Wrong." See you Sunday!
