❤️ The day couldn't let the day pass without a look at photos from Blessing of the Backpacks over the years. It is a joy and privilege for our church family to be part of these young people's lives over the years. May God's grace be upon them, their teachers, their classmates, their families for the year to come.

📌 It almost a "Feast Day." 😅 Join us this Sunday (Sept 13) for the Blessing of the Backpacks at our 10:00 am service. And by Backpacks, we mean...computer bags, diaper bags, gardening totes.

With Wednesday's storm, the Worship Collective punted their rehearsal until this morning. Join us tomorrow for the 15th Sunday after Pentecost.

We begin gathering after 9:50 am with music provided by the Worship Collective to help prepare our hearts and minds for worship that begins at 10:00 am. Our readings tomorrow (in case you want to read ahead 😉) are Exodus 12:1-14, Psalm 149, Romans 13:8-14, and Matthew 18:15-20. While there are no expectations, some folks like to read ahead. Hope to see there and after the service for refreshments.

✅️ We have books available for Bible Study starting Sep 10
🚧 Construction Update: The west bound lane of Queen Street is now closed from George to Elizabeth ~ adjacent to the church. It is going to be grand when completed.

Parish Update | Released 14th Sunday after Pentecost (Aug 30/26)

😆 It's that time of the year where we gear up for the Fall season ahead of us. Clergy, Staff and Lay Leaders, while enjoying the summer, have also been busy planning for the months ahead. You can slip over to our website to read the letter in an easier format. It is choke full of news and you will want to read it until the end. 😊

❤️ Love seeing so many of our young people take roles in this morning's service. We can just stand back and let them "do their thing." Our online service premieres at 4:00 pm (slip over to our website for the link to YouTube). With a gear-up to fall, we released a parish mailing and there was an unexpected and joyful announcement to conclude the service.

😅 As a follow-up to yesterday's post, Georgie-boy resisting more shredding and a parish mailing is ready for release tomorrow.

14th Sunday after Pentecost | Aug 30/26
