Sunday at St. James Brampton, we were reminded that God calls His people into freedom, love, and restored relationship with Him and one another. In Exodus, we remember God’s saving power through the Passover; in Romans, we are reminded to live in love and walk faithfully in the light of Christ; and in Matthew, Jesus teaches us that when hurt or disagreement happens, the goal must always be healing, forgiveness, and reconciliation.

We were blessed once again by the presence of our guest clergy, The Rt. Rev. Peter Fenty, whose sermon was powerfully delivered and deeply connected to the life of the Church, God’s people, and the world we live in today. Bishop Fenty asked us to reflect honestly: Do church people fight? Do we speak about others? Do we sometimes fit that description? Yet through Jesus Christ, we are called to trust God and follow a better way, the way of humility, mercy, forgiveness, and love. As Jesus commanded in John 13:34, “Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” From a spiritual point of view, when we ask, “What’s love got to do with it?” the answer is simple: everything.

This Sunday at St. James the Apostle Anglican Church, Brampton, we were reminded that God calls us by name, just as He called Moses from the burning bush, inviting us to trust Him even when the journey ahead feels uncertain. Romans calls us to live with sincere love, patience, prayer, peace, and kindness, while Jesus reminds us in the Gospel that following Him means taking up our cross and walking faithfully in His way.

This Sunday was another special blessing for our sanctuary as our guest clergy, The Rt. Rev. Peter Fenty, blessed us with his presence and delivered a sermon that beautifully connected the Church, us as God’s people, and the realities of today’s world. We are truly grateful to him and his wife, Angela, for their time with us, and we look forward to the two remaining Sundays as he continues to lead us through this season.

May the peace of Jesus Christ strengthen our hearts, deepen our faith, and guide us to trust God more each day. 🙏✨🕊️

Sunday at our St. James, Brampton, we were reminded that God is always at work, even in difficult and uncertain times. In Exodus, we saw God protecting life and raising up Moses for His purpose; in Romans, we are called to offer ourselves to God and use our gifts faithfully; and in the Gospel, Peter declares Jesus as the Christ, the Son of the living God. Through Jesus Christ, we are called to trust God, live as His chosen people, and follow the way, the truth, and the life. Sunday was also special as our guest leader, Mr. John Pasquill, took on the major responsibility of leading us in Morning Prayer while Rev. Isaac is on a well-deserved vacation. Through Dennis’s story, John’s message brought wisdom back into our lives and reminded us that no matter how many trials we face, we must never give up on God. Keep listening to His voice, answer His call, and continue serving wherever He places you. The road may be difficult, but our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ will always walk beside us, strengthen us, and guide us back into His light. May we keep the faith, carry our cross, and never give up, knowing that God is with us until the very end. 🙏✨🕊️

Today’s pop-up garage sale at St. James Brampton was a wonderful success! Thank you to everyone who supported us. 🙏
We still have three beautiful pieces of furniture available:
🪑 Two comfortable wingback chairs in great condition
✨ One unique, heavy-duty round coffee table with a glass top and an artistic, cement-like base. The base is approximately 4 feet around, and the glass top is approximately 5 feet across.

Funds collected and overseen by our Fundraising Committee will support the ongoing maintenance and improvement of our church, including the installation of a new lift and the replacement of flooring throughout the church.
