New Covenant Church of Canada hosted its annual Christmas Celebration Banquet on Saturday December 6th, 2025 in Brampton at Chandni Banquet Hall.

The evening was a spirit filled event which included delicious appetizers and dinner, carol singing, the renowned dramatic presentation of the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ and an exciting raffle draw.

From beginning to end the mood was joyous and celebratory. Guests came from near and far to be a part of this unique program which is and has always been Christ centered with the sole purpose of bringing the message of the Gospel to life.

Mayor of Brampton, honorable Patrick Brown made his presence felt at the event. He shared his thoughts on the importance of celebrating our faith and thanked Pastor Alexander David and New Covenant Church for their contributions and services to the city and citizens of Brampton.

Mayor Patrick Brown capped off his speech by presenting Pastor Alexander David, his wife Mrs. Alvina David and New Covenant Church with a certificate of recognition for continued dedication to faith, fellowship and community upliftment.

The Christmas play was well received and highly praised by all attendees. The presence of the Holy Spirit was felt by all and many guests shared their appreciation and heartfelt words, expressing how blessed and moved they felt from the entire experience.

Following a scrumptious dinner our guests participated in the raffle draw with great enthusiasm and interest with lucky winners taking home prizes like a 60 inch TV and beautiful Christmas reindeers.

Thank you to everyone that attended, participated and supported this event.

A huge thank you and hearty congratulations to the congregation of New Covenant Church of Canada. Your support, collaboration and hard work made the event and its ex*****on a resounding success. From managing the ticket counter, to food control, to meeting and greeting guests, to decor, to stage design, to sound and visual presentations, to the actors, costumes designer and backstage coordinators and the post event clean up team; a big big thank you.
