On March 13th 2026, the North Valley Islamic Center (NICE) had the honor of recognizing one more of our dedicated brothers for his continued support and service to our Musallah and add their names to NICE HALL OF FAME list ( TO VIEW THE COMPLETE LIST, VISIT OUR WEBSITE - WWW.NICE-CANADA.COM )

Shamsul Alam - Br Shamsul is always here at NICE not only for the daily 5 prayers but also whenever NICE Musallah needs anything. Any maintenance work happening, he is here to help, any drain is blocked , washroom needs cleaning, garbage needs to be taken out Br Shamsul is always the 1st one to assist. If he notices any supplies running out then he is here with a refill. He also has another hat as the In house BARISTA for NICE and many of us have had the privilege of having his EXCELLENT coffee on a regular basis.

Padma Restaurant
- When they heard that NICE is starting SATURDAY MORNING HALAKA program and we are arranging light breakfast from the donation from only few, PADMA RESTAURANT jumped right in and offered to DONATE delicious grand breakfast once a month. Starting from only 4 people, now sometimes we even have 23, many of us look forward to the last Saturday of the month and that amazing food from PADMA RESTAURANT, Scarborough.

Syd Khan - Most of you must have seen him working on stuffs around NICE musallah all the time from the new shoe racks to organizing the back room with new shelves, microwave and so much more. He is always searching for new projects, coming up with innovative ideas to make things better for the musollah. Even his family members are not shy to get involved in these with him.
