๐๐ฉ๐๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง: In a world of same-day deliveries, instant messaging, and microwave answers, the concept of waiting feels foreign even frustrating. Yet, some of Godโs greatest works in our lives are forged not in the sudden, but in the stillness. When we are made to wait, itโs not a sign of Godโs absence itโs often the very space where our faith deepens, our hearts are refined, and our trust in His goodness is proven real.
David, a man familiar with long seasons of waiting, penned this psalm not from the throne, but in the midst of battle and delay. He reminds us that the strength to endure delay without losing heart comes from believing believing that God is good and that His promises will still come to pass.
๐๐๐ฏ๐จ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ: David said, โI had faintedโ I wouldโve given up, lost hope, thrown in the towel โunless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.โ He didnโt say he saw it right away, or that everything turned around in a moment. No he chose to believe it before he saw it. And thatโs the essence of faith.
Some of you reading this today are waiting for breakthrough waiting for healing, restoration, provision, or clarity. And in the silence, itโs tempting to wonder: Has God forgotten me? But the truth is, Godโs delays are never His denials. Every divine pause has a purpose.
Waiting is where we learn to let go of control, to trust in Godโs perfect timing, and to stop demanding that life follow our schedule. What we see as a delay, God sees as preparation. What feels like a holding pattern may actually be Him placing us in position for something greater than we could have imagined.
We serve a God who doesnโt rush but who never fails to be on time. And when we wait on Him when we stay strong, take heart, and hold onto hope He promises to strengthen us.
Am I trusting God in the waiting, or am I growing weary?
โข Have I allowed impatience to rob me of peace and joy?
Waiting doesnโt mean doing nothing it means continuing to worship, to pray, to serve, and to believe, even when the answer hasnโt arrived.
Cultivate patience in the slow seasons. Remember: The fruit of the Spirit includes long-suffering not because God wants us to suffer, but because real love, deep joy, and lasting peace are often born in the waiting room of life.
๐๐ซ๐๐ฒ๐๐ซ: Heavenly Father, Today I choose to trust in Your timing. Even when the answers are slow and the doors seem closed, I will believe in Your goodness. Teach me to wait with faith, not frustration to see Your hand even when I donโt see the outcome. Strengthen my heart, Lord. Help me hold on to hope, knowing that You are never late. You are always working, always loving, always faithful. I surrender my timeline and embrace Yours.
In Jesusโ name, Amen.

๐ข๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐ง๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐ ๐๐ฆ๐๐ง๐ญ: Donโt despise the delay. It might just be the space where God is growing something beautiful in you. Be strong. Take heart. Wait on the Lord. He will not disappoint you.
