Yet, some of Godโ€™s greatest works in our lives are forged not in the sudden, but in the stillness. When we are made to wait, itโ€™s not a sign of Godโ€™s absence itโ€™s often the very space where our faith deepens, our hearts are refined, and our trust in His goodness is proven real.

David, a man familiar with long seasons of waiting, penned this psalm not from the throne, but in the midst of battle and delay. He reminds us that the strength to endure delay without losing heart comes from believing believing that God is good and that His promises will still come to pass.

๐ƒ๐ž๐ฏ๐จ๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ: David said, โ€œI had faintedโ€ I wouldโ€™ve given up, lost hope, thrown in the towel โ€œunless I had believed to see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.โ€ He didnโ€™t say he saw it right away, or that everything turned around in a moment. No he chose to believe it before he saw it. And thatโ€™s the essence of faith.

Some of you reading this today are waiting for breakthrough waiting for healing, restoration, provision, or clarity. And in the silence, itโ€™s tempting to wonder: Has God forgotten me? But the truth is, Godโ€™s delays are never His denials. Every divine pause has a purpose.

Waiting is where we learn to let go of control, to trust in Godโ€™s perfect timing, and to stop demanding that life follow our schedule. What we see as a delay, God sees as preparation. What feels like a holding pattern may actually be Him placing us in position for something greater than we could have imagined.

We serve a God who doesnโ€™t rush but who never fails to be on time. And when we wait on Him when we stay strong, take heart, and hold onto hope He promises to strengthen us.

Am I trusting God in the waiting, or am I growing weary?
โ€ข Have I allowed impatience to rob me of peace and joy?

Waiting doesnโ€™t mean doing nothing it means continuing to worship, to pray, to serve, and to believe, even when the answer hasnโ€™t arrived.

Cultivate patience in the slow seasons. Remember: The fruit of the Spirit includes long-suffering not because God wants us to suffer, but because real love, deep joy, and lasting peace are often born in the waiting room of life.

๐๐ซ๐š๐ฒ๐ž๐ซ: Heavenly Father, Today I choose to trust in Your timing. Even when the answers are slow and the doors seem closed, I will believe in Your goodness. Teach me to wait with faith, not frustration to see Your hand even when I donโ€™t see the outcome. Strengthen my heart, Lord. Help me hold on to hope, knowing that You are never late. You are always working, always loving, always faithful. I surrender my timeline and embrace Yours.

๐—ฆ๐—ฝ๐—ฒ๐—ฎ๐—ธ ๐—œ๐˜ ๐—ข๐˜‚๐˜: There is something sacred about time spent with someone you love. You donโ€™t rush it. You donโ€™t treat it like an item to check off a to-do list. You cherish it. You savor it. Thatโ€™s how our relationship with Jesus is meant to be.

Yes, salvation is the glorious beginningโ€”when we accept the finished work of Christ, we are saved and sealed by His grace. But that moment is not the end of our journeyโ€”it is the doorway to a relationship that grows deeper, richer, and more intimate over time. Like any close friendship or deep connection, it must be nurtured. It needs time. It needs intentionality.

But letโ€™s be honestโ€”itโ€™s hard to slow down in todayโ€™s world. There are appointments to keep, deadlines to meet, and endless distractions competing for our attention. So we end up doing what many do: we treat our time with God like a fast-food visit. We rush in, say a quick prayer, read a short devotional, and expect a full spiritual meal in minutes. Itโ€™s like grabbing a burger and fries at the drive-thruโ€”we may be temporarily filled, but weโ€™re not truly nourished.

And our souls can feel it.

You see, intimacy with God doesnโ€™t happen in a hurry. Itโ€™s found in the stillness. Itโ€™s found in the lingering. Itโ€™s found when we come not with an agenda, but with a heart that simply wants to be with Him. Like Mary sitting at the feet of Jesus while Martha was busy, itโ€™s in those quiet, unhurried moments where we truly begin to know Him.

The nourishment our souls crave isnโ€™t found in quick prayers and rushed devotionsโ€”itโ€™s found in small bites of His Word, slowly digested in the stillness of His presence. Itโ€™s found when we worship without watching the clock. When we listen without demanding answers. When we seek Him not for what He can give us, but for who He is.

If we hurry in, weโ€™ll often hurry out empty. But if we come and waitโ€”if we lingerโ€”Heโ€™ll fill us with more than we ever imagined.

You are my Savior, my Shepherd, and my Friend. I want more than quick encountersโ€”I want deep connection. Teach me to slow down. To sit quietly. To listen closely. Let me hunger not for fast food, but for the bread of life that nourishes my soul. Draw me into deeper intimacy with You. Let my spirit find peace and purpose in Your presence. In Jesusโ€™ name, amen.

๐’๐ฉ๐ž๐š๐ค ๐ˆ๐ญ ๐Ž๐ฎ๐ญ: In our fast-paced world, weโ€™re surrounded by time-saving toolsโ€”smartphones, online calendars, voice assistants, and more. Yet, even with all these innovations, most of us still find ourselves racing against the clock, wishing for just a few more hours in the day. The pressure to get everything done often leaves us stressed, anxious, and spiritually drained. We go from one task to the next, trying to cram as much as we can into the limited time we have, often sacrificing peace for productivity.

But Ecclesiastes 3:1 reminds us of a profound truth: โ€œTo every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven.โ€ This verse isnโ€™t just poeticโ€”itโ€™s a prescription for peace. God has already appointed a time for everything that truly matters. He isnโ€™t bound by our busyness. He isnโ€™t rushing. He doesnโ€™t measure success by how full our schedule is, but by how faithful we are in what He calls us to do.

The problem is not the lack of time, but the mismanagement of it. We allow the urgent to replace the important. We become so wrapped up in what we think needs to be done, that we neglect relationships, overlook moments to minister, and ignore the beauty around us. We arrive at the end of the day tired, empty, and sometimes spiritually disconnected.

When we donโ€™t pause, we risk missing divine appointmentsโ€”those God-ordained moments meant to bring blessing, insight, or even change. Sometimes, Godโ€™s best blessings are found in stillness, not speed. Some thingsโ€”like healing, restoration, conversation, and connectionโ€”canโ€™t happen on a tight schedule. They require room to breathe.

So, letโ€™s release the pressure to fill every second and instead focus on what matters most. When we walk in step with Godโ€™s timing, weโ€™ll find peace in the process and strength for the journey.

๐๐ซ๐š๐ฒ๐ž๐ซ: Lord, help me to slow down and seek You first. Rearrange my priorities so that I walk in alignment with Your will, not just my to-do list. Give me the discernment to recognize what truly matters today. I donโ€™t want to miss a single moment You have planned for meโ€”whether itโ€™s an opportunity to serve, a chance to rest, or simply time spent in Your presence. Teach me to embrace the rhythm of Your perfect timing. In Jesusโ€™ name, Amen.

Easter Devotion: โ€œHe Is Risen!โ€

Scripture: โ€œHe is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.โ€:Matthew 28:6 (KJV)

Opening Thought: Easter is more than a holidayโ€”itโ€™s the foundation of our faith. On this day, we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ, the triumph of life over death, hope over despair, and victory over sin. The empty tomb is not just a historical eventโ€”it is a present reality that changes everything for the believer. Let your heart be stirred again by the power of the resurrection.

Devotional Message: The message of Easter is clear: Jesus keeps His promises. He told His disciples that He would rise again on the third dayโ€”and He did. The resurrection was not a surprise to God. It was the plan all along. Through His death, Jesus paid the price for our sins. Through His resurrection, He broke the power of the grave and secured eternal life for all who believe in Him.

Easter is a reminder that no matter how dark the night, morning will come. The stone that sealed the tomb was rolled awayโ€”not so Jesus could get out, but so we could look in and see that He is alive. Death could not hold Him. And if we are in Christ, it cannot hold us either.

The resurrection is not just about eternityโ€”itโ€™s about today. Because He lives, we can live in hope, walk in victory, and trust in the unshakable truth that God is with us. No matter what circumstances surround you today, the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is at work in your life (Romans 8:11). You are not forgotten. You are not forsaken. The cross proves His love; the resurrection proves His power.

Closing Thought: Let Easter renew your faith. Let it remind you that Jesus is not a memoryโ€”He is a living Saviour. When all seemed lost, He rose again. So today, lift up your head, for hope has a name, and His name is Jesus.

Prayer: Risen Saviour, I praise You for the victory of the cross and the power of the resurrection. Thank You for dying in my place and rising again so I might live. Help me to walk in the light of this truth every day. Fill my heart with resurrection joy and remind me that no situation is beyond Your power. Because You live, I can face tomorrow. Because You live, I am never alone. I celebrate You today and forevermore. In Jesusโ€™ name, Amen.

Speak it out: God promises He will be with us and provide exactly what is required for our day. He wants us to trust Him every day. God provided manna for the Israelites day by day. They had to trust Him each day to provide for what they needed. In our human pride it is difficult for us to have that trust in God.

We want assurance today that we will be provided for tomorrow. We work very hard to make sure that we have that assurance. It is much easier for us to stock up and prepare ourselves. What if we were as the Israelites traveling through the land with nothing except our faith and trust in God? They had no choice but to trust God to provide.

They had no means to do it themselves. Each day they trusted God and each day He came through for them. Sometimes we feel as if we don't have enough strength, or energy, or wisdom or courage to face the day. All the "what ifs" running through our minds.

Maybe it is because we are attempting to provide for yesterday and tomorrow with today's provision. "Give us this day our daily bread" Jesus said don't worry, He is aware of all that we need. He wants us to seek Him first and He takes care of tomorrow and the next day and the day after that. He always provides just what we need just when we need it.

Prayer: Help me get rid of anxiety about today and all the worry about what will or could happen, tomorrow or next week. I trust you will always provide for what my day requires, for what each circumstance requires and my life requires. Give me today Lord my daily bread I trust that you will provide tomorrow. Amen. Speak it out : Each time we show compassion, kindness, love and understanding toward others we honor God. Meeting the needs of others, above and beyond our own feelings and needs. It doesnโ€™t require a formal title, but this service is of great importance to God.

Being available and willing, day or night to answer a call for help, spending time with the lonely, listening to those in distress, and being willing to drop whatever we are doing to answer a higher calling of service, making these Holy duties a priority in our lives. Simply loving in the name of Jesus. What a joy not a task to be in the service of our Lord.

Prayer: We make ourselves available for Your service today. Let Your loving kindness shine through us to all, so that our actions will speak Your love, louder than our words. What a joy and an honor, to be in Your service. Read: Philippians 2:3-5 - Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

04/15/2025

Speak it out : Seeking the approval of others often takes center stage in our thoughts and controls the way we act, and the decisions we make. We have a distorted idea that we need to please everyone. Well we canโ€™t. There will always be someone who disapproves of our actions, or dislikes us.

It is God who needs to be center stage, when it comes to approval. Deep within each of us, there is a longing to be approved of by our Creator. Manโ€™s approval cannot substitute or fulfill that desire in us and we canโ€™t alter the truth of Jesus Christ to gain it. It is His seal of approval that satisfies our souls.

Prayer: My heart seeks to please you. Your approval is what I desire. I accept the truth of the gospel of Jesus Christ Your Son, without compromise. Give me the strength to live my life, so that it reflects Your power, Glory and love to others. It is Your approval my souls seeks. Give me the wisdom and strength to serve You with my whole heart. In Jesus name.

Read: Galatians1:10 - For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.

๐’๐ฉ๐ž๐š๐ค ๐ข๐ญ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ: It is time for us to break free from the bo***ge of fear. It is all too easy for us to become intimidated and fearful when we are listening to the voice of our enemy. Satan is the master of using our fears to stifle us in the heat of the battle. Our battle is not against flesh and blood but it is spiritual and God has provided and equipped us with all that we need for the battle. We need to stop allowing Satan to torment us with our own fears.

When we hear a voice reminding us of our past, or whispering "what will everyone think?" or you will certainly fail; we know that voice is not the voice of the one who has told us "fear not". A line has been drawn in the sand and we need to wake up and cross it and step into enemy territory without fear and fully dressed in the Armor of God ready to win.

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. 1st John 4:18 If we will simply trust in God and have faith in His ability, He will provide the power and the victory. In the presence of His perfect love our fears will cease.

๐๐ซ๐š๐ฒ๐ž๐ซ: We thank you Lord that you are aware of Satan's tactics. We will not fear but trust in your protective love. You give us strength to face any circumstance with joy. Your presence calms our hearts and causes all fear to cease. Thank you for your faithfulness to us!

๐’๐ฉ๐ž๐š๐ค ๐ข๐ญ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ: Prayer is powerful, and when we pray for one another, we can expect to see the results of our petitions. Compassion needs to be at the heart of every prayer. Embracing each plea, as if it were our own. Itโ€™s not about how our words are composed, but the simple cry of compassion from our hearts.

Every word reaches His ears, and the answers always come. They may come that day or the next week, or the next year, but they do come in His perfect time. All of hell trembles when a child of God goes before their heavenly Father, who is anxiously waiting to meet every need.

๐๐ซ๐š๐ฒ๐ž๐ซ: - Lord, fill us with compassion, giving us wisdom and strength to remain faithful to prayer for one another. We thank, you for the ability to come into your presence, knowing that you hear every word. We thank you for the answers, and praise you for all that you have done. In Jesus name we ask. Amen.

๐‘๐ž๐š๐: James 5:16 - Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

12/29/2024

๐‘๐ž๐š๐: Jeremiah 17:7 - Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.

๐’๐ฉ๐ž๐š๐ค ๐ข๐ญ ๐จ๐ฎ๐ญ: It appears, the closer we get to the answer, the more intense the problem becomes. It is always the darkest right before dawn. We can't give up, when we are on the verge of breaking through. There are obstacles and heartaches in this life, but they are for a brief moment in time.

If we can trust in God to see us through the dark moments, when the heavy cloud breaks open, we will find blessing un-imagined in the light of His love. We don't have to fear the dark clouds of the storm, we have been planted by the streams of living water, where nothing can uproot us, and all we need to sustain us can be found.

๐๐ซ๐š๐ฒ๐ž๐ซ: Lord, we are thirsty, and hopeless, tired and weak. Quench our thirst, be our strength, restore our faith and our hope. Our confidence is in you, we cannot be uprooted. We have been planted in the hope of Jesus Christ. Our hope is in you, and not the hopeless cloud that obscures our view. Continue to fill us and sustain us. In Jesus name we ask and believe. Amen.

Speak it out: Jesus understands very much the things we go through. The feelings of anxiety, frustration, loneliness, anger, and rejection; he has experienced them all. He certainly understands what it is to cry out to God, with tears flowing. He has been through the same array of emotions, and when we are hurting He hurts also. "Emanuel" God is with us. He feels our pain. That is why we can approach Him, assured that He understands. Sometimes we may feel that we are not spiritual enough, or we have done something wrong, when we wrestle with these emotions. Not true. While family and friends are great to share our feelings with, there are some feelings that can't be put into words. Jesus desires for us to share them with Him.

When we step into His presence, there is no need for words. He understands our every thought and emotion. We are free to be ourselves, letting go and realizing there are no barriers. We can cry out with a loud voice, we can sob, we can sit quietly in His presence. One thing for certain, we will find comfort, grace and mercy. Whatever our need, He understands, He has the answer. He most certainly is the truest of friends. He won't betray our confidence, He won't shame us or judge us. It is in His presence that we find the answers, the instruction, the help we so desperately need in our trouble. We are never alone. He is with us always.

Prayer: I thank you Jesus, that you understand how I feel. Pour your peace into my mind and my heart. I know you will never fail me; thank you for always being there and understanding the things even I don't understand. Your bring peace to my soul. Praise your wonderful name! ๐’๐ฉ๐ž๐š๐ค ๐ˆ๐ญ ๐Ž๐ฎ๐ญ:@ As we navigate the complexities of life, we often face trials that test our faith and resilience. In these moments, itโ€™s essential to ground ourselves in Scripture and seek divine assurance. Psalm 20 invites us to lean into Godโ€™s unwavering support and reminds us that our true strength lies not in worldly means, but in the Lord our God. Letโ€™s explore the profound teachings of this psalm together.

Psalm 20 serves as a prayer of support and encouragement for those preparing for battle or facing significant challenges. It is essential to understand the contextโ€”this psalm was likely a communal plea for Godโ€™s assistance, signifying the importance of unity in faith.

Verse 1 opens with a powerful declaration: "The Lord hear thee in the day of trouble." This illustrates God as our ever-present help. When we face trials, itโ€™s not just our individual prayers that matter; itโ€™s the collective strength and faith of our community. We are reminded to carry one another in prayer, supporting friends and family in their times of need.

Continuing to verse 7, it contrasts worldly reliance with divine faith: "Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; but we will remember the name of the Lord our God." Here lies a pivotal truth: human efforts and resources may seem appealing, but they are limited. Trusting in material strength can lead to disappointment, while trusting in God opens the door to limitless possibilities. This verse challenges us to evaluate where we place our confidence. Do we rely more on our skills, our jobs, or our relationships than on Godโ€™s promises?

As we reach verse 8, it's clear: "They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright." This speaks to the ultimate outcome of faith. Those who rely on the fleeting can stumble, but those firmly anchored in God will rise above circumstances.

In essence, Psalm 20 emphasizes spiritual resilience and the power of collective prayer. It teaches us to approach every challenge not just as individuals but as part of a larger body of believers, calling on Godโ€™s strength together.

Where do you find your confidence? In personal achievements or in the foundation of God's enduring love? Spend time reflecting on how God has been present during your own challenges. Let that remembrance reinforce your trust and compel you to support others in prayer during their hardships.

๐๐ซ๐š๐ฒ๐ž๐ซ: Heavenly Father, I come before You today with a heart full of gratitude. Thank You for being my strength and refuge. Help me to place my trust in You alone and to remember Your name in every situation I face. May I find peace in knowing that You are with me, guiding me through challenges. Strengthen my faith as I seek You in both good times and bad. In Jesus' name,
