Black History month guest bio 👉🏾

Josh Clemons is the author of Know. Own. Change.: Journeying Toward God’s Heart for Reconciliation.

He is privileged to serve as a member of the founding team and the Executive Director of OneRace Movement.

He has built a reputation as a lover of God, a people builder, and a reconciler of cultures. As both an author and professor and leading a racial reconciliation movement, Josh shares his brilliance, wisdom, and practical instruction, impacting audiences in religious and secular communities.

Presently, Josh is pursuing his Ph.D. at Fuller Theological Seminary. He resides in Atlanta, GA, with his wife Lakisha and three sons, Langston Grant, Duke Ellington and Carter Douglass.

Join us Monday, February 12th ⏰ 7:30pm EST on IG Live as we talk about teaching cities to love across colour, class and culture.

Guest Profile 📋 Pastor Alexis Qumsieh-Bonilla is the wife of Eli Bonilla Jr and the mother of Novalee and Ezekiel.

She serves alongside of her husband as the NextGen Pastors at Bethany Church in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.

In addition to the local church, she has a heart for the global church, and serves on the Executive Table of Empowered21 NextGen leading Digital Strategy and Communications.

Beyond her formal roles, Alexis is a second generation Palestinian-American, who believes it is a part of God’s calling on her life to communicate the heart of the Palestinian people, as well as God’s heart for the Palestinian people. Her ultimate prayer is for true and lasting peace.

Michael Mistretta is the CEO of FIRM: Fellowship of Israel Related Ministries.

Born in Toronto, Canada, Michael was raised in the church and later received a call to Israel where he met Pastor Wayne Hilsden and helped start FIRM.

From starting his own company as a teenager to his 12 years of ministry experience, he is an entrepreneur and innovator who is passionate about seeing ministries in Israel thrive and people coming to know Yeshua (Jesus) as Messiah.

Michael’s passion for Israel takes him
around the world as he strives to build unique connections between the church and the body of believers in Israel, and shares about how God is moving in Israel today.

Michael made Aliyah (immigrated to Israel) in 2014 and lives in Jerusalem with his wife Vanessa and their two young sons.

Many young people are trying to process how God can allow war, suffering and death. We desire to help young people see through the lens of Jesus and not culture.

When we launched last year it was out of obedience and a desire to serve others and impact people’s lives.
