This Sunday, we will have baby bottles available to be filled with donations for Christine's Place Pregnancy Care Centre. They do important work in our community and provide resources that are desperately needed in today's society. Pick one up on Sunday and fill it!

What if our picture of Heaven is too small?
In this challenging message, Pastor Nathan confronts the growing desire for comfort, escape, and isolation—and reminds us that Heaven is not a private paradise detached from people.
Heaven is a Kingdom.
And the Kingdom of God is all about people.
Using the story of David’s fall in 2 Samuel 11, this sermon explores what happens when we trade calling for comfort, mission for ease, and the battlefield for the balcony.
📖 Key Scriptures:
2 Samuel 11:1–5 | Matthew 6:10 | Matthew 28:19–20 | Mark 5:15–20 | Luke 14:26–33 | 1 John 4:7–11
💬 Highlights:
Why comfort often leads to compromised character
How David’s greatest failure began with staying where he shouldn’t have stayed
The difference between the heavenly and Heaven itself
Why the Kingdom of God is about people—not isolation
Whether God calls you to go or stay, the mission is still the same
Why loving Jesus means loving what He loves: people, nations, and the lost
The danger of wanting Heaven without wanting the Kingdom
🔥 If we lose sight of the mission, we’ll end up on the balcony when we were meant for the battlefield.
🕊️ God is not calling His people away from broken humanity—but toward it.
The harvest is ripe.
The Kingdom is coming.
And the time for kings to be at war is here.

This week, Pastor Nathan was able to drop off A HANDFUL of gift cards to the Parra family thanks to your generosity. Joel and Ines shared that they have TWO separate work permit applications in now because GOD MADE A WAY and their original case is being reconsidered. They have also been approved to apply for PERMANENT RESIDENCY by the grace of GOD!

Would you pray over all 3 applications, and that God would continue to make a way?

With the reconsideration, the process could be even faster than the original timeline! Praise God!
