🔥 The guarantee of following Jesus is not that every season of life will turn out exactly the way we want.
Israel went through captivity.
They needed redemption.
They lived under foreign powers.
But none of that changed the final reality:
✝️ Jesus wins.
People rise and fall.
Kingdoms rise and fall.
Circumstances change.
👑 But the Kingdom belongs to the Lord.
That is where our hope belongs.

⚠️ Comparison creates corruption.
When we constantly look at someone else’s opportunities, success, position or favour, eventually we can stop seeing them as a person…
…and start seeing them as a competitor.
👀 “I’d have that too if I had their opportunities.”
“I’d be further ahead if someone would just notice me.”
But God designed you with a purpose. 🙏
You don’t have to compete with someone else’s calling to faithfully live yours.

🌧️ When life is hard, it can start to feel like, “This is just how things are going to be.”
But don’t mistake a season for permanence.
🙌 God is still the Redeemer.
He can redeem your marriage.
He can redeem your family.
He can redeem your work.
He can redeem your finances.
He can redeem the things that feel completely beyond repair.
❤️ Whatever season you’re walking through today, don’t put a limit on what God can redeem.

Sometimes we pray for God to make the road easier.
Habakkuk gives us another picture:
God doesn't necessarily remove the terrain. He gives you feet for the terrain.
The season may still be rocky. The path may still be difficult. There may be places you aren't sure you can cross.
