Join us this Good Friday at 6:30 PM for a meaningful service of reflection, as we remember Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice through His death on the cross.
Then, on Easter Sunday at 10 AM, we gather to celebrate His resurrection—a powerful victory over sin and death that brings hope and new life to all who believe in Him.

Please join us to enjoy the season of Maple Syrup and all that comes with it!

Pancake breakfast will be served with coffee, tea and hot chocolate. A stroll through our maple forest to see the process of making maple syrup from the drops into a bucket to the finished product. There will be games and contests for the kids and maybe even opportunities to participate in the making of maple syrup! It all depends on the weather. Dress for snow and mud and breakfast in the garage!
A free-will donation to be directed to the sponsorship of a refugee family of four will be gratefully received. This sponsorship will reunite them with relatives, who were former refugees, that are living in Clarington.

Join us for a beautiful evening of music with the Redeemer University Choir on Friday, February 20. The evening will begin with a dessert social at 6:30pm hosted by the Refugee Sponsorship Team. Free-will donations will be gratefully accepted for the sponsorship of a refugee family. This will follow with the concert at 7:30pm. The concert is free and open to all.

Due to the severe winter storm affecting our area, the Rehoboth Council has made the decision to cancel today’s worship service, Sunday, January 25, 2026.

The safety of our congregation, staff, volunteers, and children is our top priority. We encourage everyone to stay home and stay safe.

We look forward to worshiping together again next week.

Have a blessed day. Put your feet up, enjoy a coffee at home and find a nice church service on TV.

Our next Alpha session begins Tuesday, February 3, 2026. We will begin the evening with dinner at 7:00 pm, see a movie and you will receive information about the program. Bring a friend or relative, or come by yourself; you will be sure to make new friends! Everyone’s welcome. It’s free and there’s no pressure to come back. We would love to see you there!

IT'S WORLD KINDNESS DAY!

On this special day, we wanted to highlight one of our NewGround partners that is showing kindness, love, and care through their ministry called BRUNCHKINS!

Brunchkins is currently a ministry of Rehoboth CRC in Bowmanville, ON. In 2020, it was noted that 15.5% of households in the Durham region reported being food insecure. “Until you see a 4 year-old eat three pancakes, two bowls of yogurt, and ask for their third bagel, you may not know what food insecurity looks like,” shared one volunteer.

Brunchkins provides a hot, nutritious breakfast and a packable lunch to elementary school children living in cooperative housing in Clarington on two mornings a week. While addressing food insecurity is important, Brunchkins is about much more than just handing out food - it creates a place where kids can eat together, talk about their lives, and know that they are heard and loved. It promotes relationship-building with families and builds stronger community partnerships.

“Recently a mom shared with our site manager about the difficulties she was experiencing as a parent of three kids and navigating one child’s disclosure of self-harm. We were able to provide a supportive listening environment and also connect the family to further resources. Another new mother needed basic resources that we were able to help with. Another site manager partnered with a local bike club that came and fixed kids bikes during the year end BBQ. We are learning to listen and not just meet needs but see the assets within the community so we can build partnerships and empower the people we aim to serve.”

With funding and coaching from NewGround, a program of Diaconal Ministries that helps churches get out of their four walls and into their local community, Brunchkins worked to clarify their vision, mission, and values and towards becoming incorporated. This will help their ministry clarify their future partnership model and find the best ways to expand and grow this ministry in other communities.

Please join us on Friday, September 26 at 6:00 pm for a Syrian/Kurdish Dinner and Silent Auction. All proceeds will support the Refugee Sponsorship of a couple and their 2 young sons from Turkey to Canada. This is an exciting venture because this sponsorship will make possible the reunification of this family with relatives (also former refugees) living in Clarington.

Enjoy a delicious spread featuring lentil soup, shawarma chicken, dolma rice with zucchini, and more. And to top off this fabulous meal—an irresistible dessert! If the food alone doesn't tempt you, come for the great company. Because food is always better with friends!
