Many thanks to all who were interested in winning the cake and donated $222 to Carla’s Walk for the Kidney Foundation. Congratulations to Gwen Foss - the lucky winner. Thank you to Connie, Marg and Faye for always supporting our projects.

Murals Information Session

There will be a presentation on Botwood’s murals at St. James Anglican Hall on Monday, August 10 @2:00. This is a free event and all are welcome. There will be an opportunity to win a Spiced Cranberry/Raisin cake. Money raised will be donated to Carla’s walk for the Kidney Foundation. Come along and bring a friend or two.

Getting ready. 1150+ luminaries. Thank you to all who came out to help- there were so many of you! Thank you to all who purchased luminaries and those who took part in the walk - your positive comments were encouraging and appreciated. I’ve said on a number of occasions that, what started out as a fundraiser, has become so much more! Special thanks to the young people - you are appreciated. To our church ladies I say ‘well done’! It was a LOT of work but we did it!!
Edit: We would also like to show our appreciation to the town for their support of this project. Security plays a big role. We cannot do it without you.
