Isaiah 58:13-14 (NKJV)
“Give to the LORD the glory due His name; bring an offering and come into His courts. Oh, worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness! Tremble before Him, all the earth.”

Reflection:
Happy Sabbath, Bonavista family and friends! God invites us today to call the Sabbath a delight — and what a delight it truly is! When we honor this day by setting aside our own agendas and giving it fully to Him, He lifts us to the high places — places of joy, spiritual perspective, and deep satisfaction that we simply cannot reach on any other day. Come today expecting to be lifted higher in His presence. Blessed Sabbath! 🌅

Call this Sabbath a delight today — He will lift you to the high places. 💙

Psalm 84:11 (NKJV)
“For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD will give grace and glory; no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly.”

Reflection:
As Sabbath approaches what a beautiful promise to carry into the holy hours ahead — no good thing will He withhold from those who walk with Him. He is your sun, bringing light and warmth to every corner of your life. He is your shield, protecting you from what could harm you. And He gives grace and glory freely to those who love Him. Welcome this Sabbath trusting that everything you truly need He will freely provide.

Romans 8:26 (NKJV)
“Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.”

Reflection:
There are moments when life is so overwhelming that we don’t even know how to pray. What a comfort to know that in those very moments, the Holy Spirit steps in and intercedes on our behalf with prayers too deep for words. You are never without a voice before the throne of God. Even in your weakest and most wordless moments, the Spirit is praying for you perfectly.

Even when you have no words, the Spirit prays for you — you are never alone. 💙

Psalm 40:1-2 (NKJV)
“I waited patiently for the LORD; and He inclined to me, and heard my cry. He also brought me up out of a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my steps.
”

Reflection:
Has it felt like you have been waiting a long time for God to move? Take heart from David’s testimony — God inclined to him, heard his cry, and lifted him out completely. He doesn’t just help you manage the pit; He brings you out and sets your feet on solid rock. Your waiting is not being ignored. He is working and His rescue, when it comes, will be complete and sure.

Keep waiting on Him — He hears your cry and His help is on the way. 💙

John 14:6 (NKJV)
“Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.””

Reflection:
In a world full of competing voices all claiming to offer direction, truth, and fulfilment, Jesus makes the most extraordinary and exclusive declaration — I am the way, the truth, and the life. Not one of many ways, not a partial truth, not one source of life among others. He is the complete answer to every question the human heart asks. Stay close to Him today and trust that He is leading you exactly where you need to go.

He is your way, your truth, and your life — stay close to Him today. 💙

Ephesians 6:10 (NKJV)
“Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.”

Reflection:
The strength God calls us to is not self-generated — it is found in Him and in the power of His might. On the days when your own reserves feel empty, this is the invitation to draw from a limitless supply. You don’t have to white-knuckle your way through this week. Simply plug into the source of all strength and let His power carry you through everything this day holds.

Be strong in His might today — His power is more than enough for everything ahead. 💙
