Information regarding restructions.

On Thursday, April 1st, the Ontario Government announced we are moving into a "Province-wide Emergency Brake." This change is in effect starting at 12:00 a.m. Saturday, April 3rd, 2021.

For weddings, funerals and other religious services, rites or ceremonies:
- physical distancing must be maintained
- guests must wear masks or face coverings
- capacity limits:
- indoors: 15% capacity of the room
- outside: the number of people that can maintain two metres physical distance from each other

Beyond the letter of the law, as people of faith, we are called to uphold the whole community and contribute wherever we can to well-being and safety. We understand that with the approach of Easter, congregations will be feeling a stronger urge to gather for in-person worship. However, as these new guidelines have been published while COVID cases remain high and new variants of the virus continue to emerge, we urge communities of faith to carefully consider the risks associated with reopening for worship. For all church employees and volunteers, we strongly encourage you to work remotely from home unless it is essential to be on site.
