What is prayer?
According to the Bible and the 1689 London Baptist Confession and Catechism, prayer is a way of opening up one's heart to God. Even though He already knows everything about us, He still tells us to come to Him with troubles, praise, and anything else that is on our hearts.
This long weekend, as we head back to school and routines, Churchill Baptist Church invites you to lay your heart at the feet of the One who created it.

How do we stay loyal to God in a changing culture?
Enjoy a clip of Pastor Tony Her's sermon "Covenant Loyalty and Sexual Holiness", based on Leviticus 18.
Next Sunday we will continue our sermon series on Leviticus--come prepared for exposition, connection, and application!
Next Sunday will also be a communion day for us, and all who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour are invited to join us directly after the service to remember Jesus' sacrifice in this way.
