Actor Rob Schneider is offering to personally cover any fines levied against Christian Major League Baseball players who choose to display Bible verses on their uniforms.

In a strong show of support for religious freedom, Schneider made it clear he’ll step in financially if the league tries to punish players for expressing their faith.

This comes as more athletes are pushing back against rules that restrict personal expressions of belief while allowing other political or social statements.

Great move by Schneider, standing up for players who want to live their faith openly.

More people in Hollywood and sports need this kind of backbone.

BREAKING - FINAL VOTE TO WITHDRAW C-9 DEFEATED

Despite an absolutely heroic effort by MP Andrew Lawton, his colleagues, and Canadians from sea to sea, C-9 passed this afternoon, removing protections for sincerely held faith beliefs in Canada.

We want to personally thank everyone who invested in this moment. Nothing has been in vain. Sometimes we see results immediately, and sometimes we see them further down the road, but we always reap a harvest in due season if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9

Today is a sad day for Canada.

Despite the pleas of Canadians to stop Bill C-9, the Liberals have passed it.

This is a serious threat to religious freedom and the fundamental rights of Canadians.

Conservatives fought until the very last moment, including putting forward a motion to remove these measures. The Liberals refused.

We will not stop fighting.

Conservatives will continue standing up to defend religious freedom and the rights and liberties that define our country.

Carrie Sakamoto Last Day In Court! Interview Tomorrow!

Carrie Sakamoto suffered a devastating COVID vaccine injury, and is in court today as the named plaintiff in a class-action lawsuit against the governments of Canada and Alberta for those injured in Alberta by the COVID shot. Today is her last day in court! Find links to the interview and her ongoing court case below.

Carrie is a mother of 3 boys from Lethbridge, Alberta tells me she was seriously injured after taking her second COVID shot - in fact she says she almost died.

After taking the shot, she was in the hospital for 17 days unable to feed herself, see properly, talk, walk, hear or concentrate. She had to relearn these things before she could leave the hospital. Her health problems have continued and not improved. She has been experiencing severe pain and neurological issues, including Full Blume Bells Palsy, depression and anxiety.

She has also been fighting tirelessly to seek justice for the harm caused including by working with media to share her story, and with other organizations to mentor and help others who have been injured. Right now, she is the named plaintiff in a class-action lawsuit which is seeking certification in court right now!

Even though the government's vaccine injury support program (VISP) agreed her injuries were caused by the vaccine (unlike others who have been unfairly denied or delayed), they have still denied various claims for needed treatments.

She has significant medical expenses which are not covered by the government including 11 medications she needs to take to manage the burning pain and other symptoms. There are various treatments she would pay for if she could afford it, which would genuinely help, but the government has callously denied to cover them.

Your generous donations will help Carrie to get the medical and psychological treatments she needs, and also help her to stand up to hold the authorities accountable for their actions. Already her work with the media to expose the ineptitude in the VISP has lead to nationwide news coverage, and a huge revamp to that program.

Within hours of her vaccination on June 18, 2021, Carrie says she developed flu-like symptoms that forced her to be hospitalized. The experience in hospital was harrowing, and she had to relearn many basic life skills before leaving. To this day she suffers from Bells Palsy, severe head pain, and ongoing balance and memory issues.

The doctors diagnosed her with bells palsy, several neurological disorders, vertigo, and more. She says the doctors at the hospital confirmed the vaccine caused her issues. She's on 11 different medications to manage her pain and other conditions.

Everything in Sakamoto’s life and family situation changed after her second COVID-19. Carrie and her family used to live on a beautiful seed farm in the foothills near Lethbridge, Alta. Due to her medical issues and on going expenses, they've had to sell the farm and have moved into town.

Due to medical debt they accumulated, and because she couldn't be left alone at night, her husband had to switch jobs and became a truck driver. She could no longer manage the family finances as her once stellar memory was clouded, and she would forget numbers and spend from the wrong accounts. Other accidents include starting cooking fires in her kitchen and falling down the stairs in her home.

Carrie describes her pain that began after her second shot by saying it's like her brain is "on fire", which she still experiences today. It's a strong pain that makes her want to vomit and needs to be controlled with various medications, which VISP will not cover.

Perhaps most galling is the treatment she's received from VISP. Carrie had submitted all her additional claims for review, and was not getting any response until a Global News article written on her and other vaccine injured Canadians went public with the issue. Then VISP responded and told her that certain doctors (who remained unidentified) had decided that all her medical issues following the shot were unrelated.

Carrie says that even though VISP acknowledged her hearing loss was a result of the vaccine injury, they denied her claim for a hearing aid. She says they also denied claims for counselling, prescription pain medicines and glasses, along with future earnings losses.

To hear about this and more, watch our interview which will be released tomorrow.

An investigative report by Global News blew the lid off the VISP mismanagement. As Carrie says in our interview: "Everything I suspected...was happening...these people weren't medical professionals...we were being treated terribly...now the program has been taken away from the [private management company] and they still have not implemented the new program. We are still waiting for anything to happen."

The Global News article indicates the company hired to administer the program (Oxaro Inc.) "received $50.6 million in taxpayer money, including $33.7 million spent on administrative costs, while injured Canadians received only $16.9 million."

The mismanagement at the VISP is extraordinary. Carrie says she's had nine different case managers. In the Global News article, she explained "For no reason, all of a sudden, they're gone. It's incredibly frustrating. They lose documents. They don't know what you're doing, what things are required. They repeat things. It's like starting over again every time you get a new person."

She thinks they only approved her injury because all the specialists at the hospital documented it, so they couldn't deny it. However, other than a small payout that covered one credit card, they denied all her therapies, medications, and even the hearing aid. She says they also claimed she had treatments done that she never had. The callous disregard the VISP has shown to so many vaccine injured is infuriating. Remember, they denied Sean Hartman's claim completely, saying the vaccine had nothing to do with his death.

Due to Global News investigative work, the federal government made a surprise visit to the VISP offices to see if the program was being mismanaged last summer. During their investigation Global reported they "heard descriptions of a workplace that lacked the gravitas...to assist the seriously injured and chronically ill: drinking in the office, ping pong, slushies and Netflix streaming at desks.

Drinking, ping pong, and Netflix!? All while good Canadians like Carrie are strung along and denied supports.

Remarkably, Carrie tells me that as of April 1, 2026, Oxaro's contract was not renewed, due to concerns about its management, and the government of Canada took over management of the program, changing the name to Vaccine Impact Assistance Program (VIAP). Whether this takeover will improve anything is yet to be seen, but I'm glad Carrie was able to share her story and help expose this terrible program.

Carrie has been a courageous truth seeker and her personal story was part of this investigative work that took down the VISP. Carrie needs your help to receive critical health treatments that they didn't approve and she can't afford. Please help her regain her health, and fight against these bullies in power.

Please give Carrie the help she needs by giving today:

Her court case has been running June 15-18 this week starting at 10am Mountain Time. Today is the last day. The link to watch live, along with her court filings and the government's response can be found be clicking below:

Carrie is an incredibly kind and patient person. I'm proud of her continued stand to spread the truth about her injury and the way in which the VISP seems to be avoiding as much accountability as it can for Canadians who are hurt and in need!

Thank you for your support!

God bless!
