We are entering the last week in our series in the book of Acts. It has been a rich study to ponder the practices of the early church and followers of Jesus and to also study the example of the Apostle Paul. May we revisit this book even after we finish our study and continue to be challenged and encouraged by the book of Acts!
______________
This week we'll be spending time in Acts 28, and all of our daily readings will connect with verse 23, “He proclaimed the kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ”.
Monday's readings: Acts 28, Deuteronomy 29, Isaiah 6
Deuteronomy 29 was written approximately around 1450 BC; Isaiah 6, in 710 BC, and Acts 28, in 60 AD. Though written in 1,500 years, all three passages say similar things: the Jewish people refused to listen to God.
None of us are 1,500 years old, but if we look back over our 30, 40, 50, or 80 years of life, what would God say about us? Do we listen to Him or do we harden our hearts?
