IBBC Beaumont Sunday Service (June 7, 2026)

Speaker: Bro. John Patag
Topic: "Faith" (Hebrews 11:1–40)

Introduction
• "Faith is confidence through the Word. Faith is the master key in every journey."

What is Faith?
• Hebrews 11:1
• Faith results in action.

Why is Faith Important?
• Faith is the foundation of the Christian life.
• Faith is our response to who God is and what He has done for us.

What Does True Faith Produce?

1. Obedience
• Hebrews 11:7–8
• Genesis 2:5; 6:13
• Through faith, Noah and Abraham obeyed God's commands even when they did not fully understand everything.
• God desires our obedience.
• Isaiah 55:8 reminds us that God's thoughts and ways are higher than ours.
• Philippians 2:8 shows Christ's perfect example of obedience.
• True faith produces a heart that obeys God.

2. Transformation
• Hebrews 11:25–26
• Through faith, individuals such as Moses were transformed to fulfill God's calling in their lives.
• Transformation means change.
• True faith produces complete transformation in a Christian's life. The old life is replaced by a spiritual life that abides in the Lord and His Word.
• True faith should have evidence.
• A believer's life should be changed by the Lord.
• Change is the inward renewal of life resulting in Christlikeness.

3. Perseverance
• Illustration: The Christian life is like a race.
• The race begins when a person accepts the Lord Jesus Christ as Savior.
• The race ends when the believer reaches the finish line.
• Between the beginning and the end, the believer must persevere in faith.
• Perseverance is evidence of genuine salvation.
• It is the steadfast determination to continue serving God despite trials, difficulties, and challenges.
• "A faith that is not tested cannot be trusted."

Challenge
• Examine yourself as a child of God.

Ask yourself:
• Am I obeying God?
• Am I being transformed by His Word?
• Am I persevering through trials by faith?

Saturday Bible Study (June 6, 2026)

Speaker: Preacher Jun Eslao
Topic: "Eternal Security" (John 10: 27-29)

1. Our Saviour Does Not Lie
• Titus 1:2
• God cannot lie. If He promised eternal life, He will keep His promise.

2. The Saved Will Not Live in Sin
• Romans 6:1–4
• Salvation changes a person. A true believer will not continue comfortably in sin.

3. Salvation Will Not Be Lost
• Romans 8:9
• Every believer has the Holy Spirit dwelling within them. Those who belong to Christ are His and remain His.

Conclusion
• Eternal security is not an excuse for careless living but a source of confidence in Christ and gratitude. Because God cannot lie, because true salvation produces a changed life filled with faithfulness, and because God Himself keeps His children secure, believers can rest in the assurance of their salvation.

Speaker: Preacher Jun Eslao
Topic: "Prayer In and Out of Season" (2 Chronicles 7:12-14)

Introduction
• The story of Mary and Martha reminds us that while fellowship, hospitality, and hosting Bible studies are important, they should never distract us from giving attention to God's Word. Christianity is not only about fellowship, food, and enjoyable gatherings—it is first about our relationship with God.
• In the life of Solomon, we see God's call for His people to seek Him faithfully.
• Difficulties and challenges are a normal part of life, making prayer essential in every season.

1. Humble Ourselves and Pray
• Prayer is our communication with God—a privilege and an act of worship.
• Through prayer, we express adoration, thanksgiving, and dependence on the Lord.
• It is important to teach our families to pray both in times of blessing and in times of hardship.
• Sadly, many Christians struggle to find time to consistently talk with and devote themselves to the Lord.
• Just as speaking with our parents shows respect and strengthens relationships, prayer deepens our fellowship with God.
• Depending on Him brings peace, rest, and confidence. Prayer is powerful and pleasing to God.

2. Ask God to Forgive Our Sins
• Romans 3:23; 1 John 1:9
• Confession is an important part of prayer.
• At times, we may feel unworthy or ashamed to come before God because of our sins.
• Yet God is faithful to forgive when we sincerely confess and repent.

3. Turn from Our Wicked Ways
• Acts 3:19
• True repentance involves more than admitting sin—it requires a change of direction.
• When God's people turn away from sinful ways and return to Him, He brings restoration and healing.

4. Seek God Continually
• 2 Chronicles 7:14; 1 Chronicles 16:11; Matthew 6:33
• Seeking God should be our highest priority; His blessings follow as we pursue Him.
• Prayer involves supplication, faith, the power of the Holy Spirit, and strength from the Lord.
• Seeking God requires humility, honesty, and a willingness to be corrected and transformed.
• We must keep our hearts aligned with His will and remain anchored in Christ.
• Spiritual growth is sacrificial—it requires time, effort, and commitment. Growing in Christ is a choice every believer must make.

Conclusion
• Prayer is not only for difficult times but for every season of life. As we humble ourselves, seek forgiveness, turn from sin, and pursue God wholeheartedly, we experience His peace, guidance, and transforming power.

IBBC Beaumont Sunday Service (May 24, 2026)

Speaker: Pastor Robert Bitun
Topic: “But Grow in Grace” (2 Peter 3:18)

Peter teaches us that growth is not optional for believers — it is a necessity. Though spiritual growth should come naturally, it also requires commitment. A true believer seeks to grow. God gives the life, but we must cultivate it.

1. The Source of Growth
• Salvation produces life. Abiding produces fruit.
• John 15:5 reminds us that apart from Christ, we can do nothing. When we abide in Him, we bear fruit.
• God is the One who gives the increase. 1 Corinthians 3:6 teaches that while men may plant and water, only God can bring growth.
• Just as we grow physically, we must also be careful about what we feed ourselves spiritually. Spiritual food is necessary if we are to grow strong and faithful in Christ.
• Our desire for fellowship, ministry involvement, and service within the church comes from a desire to grow in our Christian faith. As believers become more involved in the work of God, growth follows.
• Growth cannot happen unless we intentionally move forward. God gives life, but it is our responsibility to keep that life spiritually healthy.

2. Steps of Growth — Cultivating Godliness

Growth Requires Proper Feeding
• A growing Christian intentionally and consistently feeds on Scripture, preaching, doctrine, and godly teaching.
• Romans 10:17 teaches that faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.

Growth Requires Exercise
• 1 Timothy 4:7 reminds believers to exercise themselves unto godliness.
• Christians must discipline themselves spiritually through prayer, church attendance, soul winning, and faithful service.

Growth Requires Stretching
• Philippians 4:13 teaches that we can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth us.
• Growth often requires trials because trials give us opportunities to exercise our faith and spiritual strength. Difficulties teach us to lean on God through prayer, learn from hardship, and grow stronger in faith.
• As we continue growing, persecutions and challenges may increase. Yet we can remain confident knowing that God is in control. He allows trials not to destroy us, but to teach us, strengthen us, and stretch our faith.

3. The Signs of Growth — Christ Seen Through Us
• Spiritual growth glorifies God.

Growing Christians Bear Fruit
• Believers should have a desire to bring people to Christ, preach the gospel, and see souls saved. We should be thankful whenever God chooses to use us for His purpose and glory.
• Fruit is evidence of spiritual growth. We must intentionally seek growth and ask God for strength and guidance so we may lead others to Him.
• Growth should always be intentional.

Growing Christians Become Stable
• Ephesians 4:15 teaches believers to grow up into Christ in all things.
• Mature Christians are not easily distracted by worldly pleasures, worldly influences, or false doctrine.
• Philippians 1:20 reminds us that Christ should be magnified in our lives.
• Spiritual growth is not centered on self-improvement, but on Christlikeness.
• We must stay focused on growing and guard our hearts from drifting away from God. Growing Christians reflect Christ in humility, holiness, service, and faithfulness.
• Unintentional growth becomes shallow and empty. Intentional growth with Christ produces spiritual maturity instead of fleshliness.
• Do not simply grow older physically in church — grow spiritually. Stop being content with spiritual infancy.
• Keep growing in Christ and for Christ.

IBBC Beaumont Sunday Service (May 3, 2026)

Speaker: Pastor Jonathan Ortega
Topic: The Undying Teaching of the Lord Jesus Christ (Matthew 28:1–20)

1. The Authenticity of the Resurrection of Jesus Christ
• He is risen; He is alive.
• We worship the God of gods and the Lord of lords.
• Our faith is based on the resurrection of Jesus Christ—it is not a myth, but factual truth.
• The resurrection proves that our faith is true.
• We should appreciate what God has done and given to us.

2. The Authority of the Teachings of Jesus Christ
• Authority, not assumption.
• God has heavenly authority.
• We are created in the image of God: body, soul, and spirit.
• Likewise, we believe in the Trinity—three Persons in one God: co-eternal, co-substantial, co-equal
• We are God’s property, bought with a price.
• We should focus on worshipping God.
• Our faith must be practiced so others can see whom we worship.
• As the light of the world and salt of the earth, we should help others come to know God.

3. The Assurance of His Resurrection
• Our faith is assured because He rose from the dead.
• Do not abuse the blessings of God.
• Invest in the kingdom of God, for it has eternal value.
