🌳 BUCRISP Summer Picnic 2026 – A Wonderful Success! 🎉

What an incredible day of fellowship, fun, and community!

We were delighted on August 1st, 2026 to welcome over 300 people to the 8th Edition of the BUCRISP Summer Picnic. Families, friends, Muslims and Christian’s that are not denomination members of United Church of Canada came together to enjoy delicious food, exciting games, music, and meaningful connections in a joyful atmosphere.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to our volunteers, donors, church partners, and everyone who attended and contributed to making this event a great success. Your generosity, time, and support made this day truly memorable.

To God be the glory for a safe, joyful, and successful picnic. We look forward to seeing you again next year!

In 2021, we founded the LGBTQIA+Migrants group for the West Island Centre with the major aim of helping immigrants with LGBTQ+ and any form of persecution background. Today as co-founder and board director of the West Island LGBTQ2+ Centre .

I will be returning to this HOME OF LOVE to speak and answer all refugees' questions on immigration. It will be an opportunity to meet new faces and share my experiences with you.

I will like to express the 2026 planning committee picnic and the entire two churches gratitude to Ms Esther Omotosho for all of her hard work on this year's PICNIC.
