Soup's on at 5:30pm tonight at Supper Club: West Island!

Lent is a time of Reflection and tonight we need YOUR help with this. Our little supper club experiment is just that - an experiment! - and we’d love to have a more collaborative approach to this whole thing. So if you have constructive thoughts about what works, what doesn’t work, music and song suggestions, ways to focus our discussions, any ideas moving forwards…. this really is the week to attend and help build a community that you genuinely want to be a part of.

So bring yourselves, your families, a friend you think could use some community; and reflect upon your hopes and dreams for what a caring and engaging gathering like this could be. See you this Friday at 5 for setup, 5:30pm for supper, in the CCB parish hall!

What brings you joy? What does the word joy even mean to you? For my kiddos, I'm pretty sure this Friday that's going to mean playing in the 20'+ mountain of snow outside my office window at CCB before Supper Club! Come and join the fun (and snow pants if you're keen on playing in the snow)!
All are welcome, as we gather together for a simple prepared meal and a bit of music & community time asking what (&if?) the feeling of Joy relates to our understanding of faith. As usual, doors open at 5pm this Friday, Feb 21st for setup together, then at 5:30pm we'll start serving up the soup! Hope to see you there :)

Supper is on tonight! The soup is made & we’ve got a fun chill evening planned of singing & maybe even an Christmas cookie or two 😉
The theme tonight is “Waiting”… what are you waiting for this Advent season?
