58 YEARS of a crushing military occupation. 💔

We have again requested to meet with our representative. Canada cannot continue to be complicit in Israel’s crimes against humanity.

🛑 Over 55,000 Palestinians have been killed. More than 50,000 children have been killed or wounded.

This is genocide — and the evidence is overwhelming.

📚 Human Rights Watch, Amnesty, and leading genocide scholars — including Israeli Holocaust experts — have all stated: this meets the legal definition of genocide.

⚖️ The International Criminal Court (ICC) has issued arrest warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant for war crimes — including targeting civilians and using starvation as a weapon.

🇨🇦 Yet Canada continues to sell and buy weapons from this regime — including components made right in Midland, Newmarket and Toronto.

Even as Israel escalates war with Iran, the answer is never more weapons — violence only begets more violence.

And we refuse to look away from the starving and besieged families in Gaza.

Justice, mercy, and dignity for every human being. We demand an arms embargo now.

How dehumanized are Palestinians that an Israeli soldier would shoot a 10 year old boy?! And this is in the West Bank where there is no Hamas, no hostages, no ongoing war. This is what living under a military occupation looks like. Even children are targeted regularly. 💔

10 year old Saddam was shot in the abdomen by an Israeli soldier. Soldiers then blocked his father from getting his son medical care.

The UN reported at the end of last year a "three-fold" surge in Israeli killing of Palestinian children in the occupied West Bank.

Spokesman Stephane Dujarric indicated at a news conference that "children are bearing the brunt of the worsening situation in the West Bank," and said that "since October 7th of last year, four Palestinian children have been killed every week on average in the West Bank – marking a three-fold increase compared to the first nine months of 2023."

If the situation was reversed, we would see global outrage. But this violence has become so normalized as Palestinian lives don't matter. 😔
