Last week we had an incredible opportunity to bring 37 of our Kidz Club kids to Camp Grace Canada for the first time! ππ
They offered so much and the kids were able to try so many activities: water tubing, bubble soccer, archery/riflery, canoeing/kayaking, mountain biking, obstacle course, fishing, and swimming every day! So many new friendships were formed, team spirit points earned, and life long memories madeβ€οΈ
Some of our favourite activities were having a camp fire and roasting marshmallows, glow in the dark dance parties, electives, so many fun activities, the most epic food fight, and a huge carnival!
But some of the MOST amazing times were in the chapel service called βPower Hourβπ!
Some of the most special times in power hour was during a play about Jesus and salvation; many hearts were touchedβ€οΈ!
Also when kids learned about how it is greater to serve than to be served; Jesus showed us this example by washing his disciples feet (which was a servantβs job back in the day). Volunteers prayed with each camper, washed their feet and gave them brand new shoes π β€οΈ
We are so thankful for all the cabin leaders and camp volunteers/ directors, and staff at Joy Bible Camp who hosted Camp Grace Canada to make this life changing opportunity possible!
