Looking at various Scriptures, he sifted through what's biblical and what's traditional leading us to the truth that there are no good excuses for a believer not to be baptized. We’re naturally inclined to build our own towers, make our own names great, and trust our own wisdom. But God calls us to something very different: humility. And he didn’t just tell us what humility looks like. He showed us. Jesus, the Creator and Lord of all, humbled himself, took the form of a servant, and became obedient to the point of death on a cross.
