See, I have written your name on the palms of My hands.

What does a mother want most?

Mothers want their children healthy and safe. They want peace in the home. They want their kids to make good choices, use their time wisely, and grow up loving the Lord.

The greatest wish many mothers had, was that their children would serve God.

Hagar, Moses’ mother, Hannah, and Sarah,you see the same thing in all of them. A mother will sacrifice almost anything for her child.

This mother and child bond has God’s signature on it. He created it.

Isaiah 49 says,
“Can a mother forget her nursing child?… Even if that were possible, I would not forget you.”

God compares His love for us to a mother’s love because it’s one of the strongest loves we know.

If you’re wondering what your mom really wants most from you, it probably isn’t expensive gifts.

Love her, Respect her, Spend time with her.
And the greatest gift you can give her: serve the Lord while you’re young.

A little goodie bag for you: Listen to advice and accept discipline, and in the end you will be counted among the wise. Proverbs 19:20.
How well do you take advice?

Wise people know their limits.

We all have blind spots, and we’re not meant to do everything alone.
Share the load, give help, and accept help!
“Two are better than one” (Eccl. 4:9).

We’re stronger together. far more than we are apart.

And maybe the hardest part: keep your ego in check.
Listen when someone you trust speaks into your life.
