Monday evenings are better when we come together! 🤍

A huge thank you to Chef Ahmed for preparing such a delicious dinner for our community last Monday! We enjoyed beef burgers, pork hotdogs, BBQ tofu buns, veggie burgers, pasta salad, and a fresh green salad with Italian dressing. 🍔🥗

We are also incredibly grateful to our dedicated team of volunteers who faithfully give their time and hearts to make these weekly community dinners possible. Your kindness, generosity, and servant hearts are a true blessing to our community.

We would love more people around the team. If you have ever sat at our table on a Monday night, consider coming to serve on the other side of it. It is easy, it is fun, and it genuinely makes a difference. Just tap the volunteer link in our bio, pick a date, choose a job, and you are in.

See you next Monday, August 17, 2025 ! 🍽️

Heartfelt thanks to the partners who make every Monday possible: The Pauw Foundation, the Town of Banff, the Banff-Canmore Foundation, the Myron & Catherine Tetreault Foundation, Pursuit Banff Jasper Collection, Arctos & Bird, Banff Food Rescue, and St. George-in-the-Pines Anglican Church.

What does it actually cost to serve 400 meals on a Monday?

Program Director Seth Enriquez just shared our August update, a look at what it takes to keep the St. George in the Pines Hall full every week, plus two stories of local generosity that are already making a difference: a birthday celebration that fed two weeks of dinners, and the businesses stepping up as Rock Star Dinner sponsors.

Read the full update and see how you can help keep the table set this fall and winter.

Thank you. Before anything else, that's what we want to say. It is a privilege to serve this community every week, and being in The Pines Hall on Monday nights is one of our great joys. We rarely close. In fact, the only times we have closed this year were to celebrate our volunteers, which tells...

What a Monday evening.

Thank you to Chef Souvik for last night’s meal. Smoky barbecue chicken thighs, herb roasted potato wedges, sautéed vegetables, and an artisan green salad. He delivered.

A huge thank you to our core group of volunteers who have been carrying these dinners week after week. You know who you are and we could not do this without you.

What a Monday evening.

Chef Souvik put together a beautiful meal tonight. Herb roasted pork tenderloin, mashed potatoes, sautéed vegetables, garlic bread, and an artisan green salad. Thank you chef!

None of this happens without the people who show up behind the scenes. To everyone who volunteered tonight, thank you. You are the reason this table exists.

Banff, thank you for another wonderful Monday evening together.

A huge thank you to Chef Souvik for dinner this week. Fish and tofu in chilli garlic sauce, vegetable rice, and an artisan salad. Every plate made with care.

These dinners happen because of a deeply committed group of volunteers who show up week after week without fail. We are so grateful for them. But we could use more hands. If you find yourself regularly sitting at our table on Monday nights, consider picking a week to come serve on the other side of it. Setup, dinner service, takedown. Even once makes a real difference.

And if you’d like to help keep this going financially, every donation matters. Link in bio to give.
