I have been married to my wonderful husband Merv for 44 years. We have three children, seven grandchildren and a dog. Merv and I live in the suburban community of Baden, Ontario.
After 35 years Merv has retired from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. I am retired after 20 years from Correctional Services of Canada. I thank God for keeping me and Merv safe through some harrowing experiences in our careers.
I believe family is of the utmost importance, honesty is always the best policy and that trust has to be earned. I believe in maintaining a healthy balance between work and my personal life. I attempt to instil positive believes into my family just as my parents did to me.
I believe God gives us signs that he is trying to get our attention. We just have to be open to His signs. One way God tries to guide us is through people messengers. He will use family, close friends, and even strangers to speak a word into our lives. Sometimes a people messenger will mention something that you would not have otherwise heard, had you not come across their path. God will choose people that you trust to really deliver important messages.
