Our Story

Since it was founded in 1912, Christ Church has gathered in Ayr to worship God, grow together, and serve our community. We’d love to have you join us!


  • Worshiping God - Each Sunday we gather at 9am for a Communion service. Reflecting on God’s word together and gathering around the Table, we are nourished in our love for God and each other. Our children are brought into this life of worship through the weekly Sunday School and their participation in worship.

  • Grow Together - Every Thursday we gather to study Scripture together, asking how it shapes our lives. Right now we are working on the Bible Challenge, reading through the New Testament in a year with the help of the Bible Project. We are also intentional

  • Serve Our Community - Realizing what God has done for us leads us to find ways to love and serve our neighbors. While much of this happens informally, Christ Church is involved with Neighbors Helping Neighbors, Operation Christmas Child, and the Anglican Deanery of Waterloo’s Refugee Settlement efforts.
