"This September Gospel Sing-along is extra special! Part of a global initiative that begins at 2 pm local time, Sing for Unity is a peace initiative that rolls around the globe.

Looking forward to hosting lots of people tomorrow (Saturday) 9:00-3:00. Whether you’re a quilter or just curious about quilting and other handicrafts you don’t want to miss this tremendous display of over 425 items - some to view and some to purchase. Admission is $5.00 and we have air conditioning!!! Other things to watch for: local artist Eileen Boyd has a display of her textile art; the “Embroidery Chicks” have items for sale and tickets on a gift basket; we are still selling tickets on the lovely quilt made by Mona Rand and Nadine Stevens especially for the show (draw tomorrow); there are some crafts made by our church members as well as our church cookbook for sale; and lunch for purchase … serving between 11:00 and 2:00, plan to eat early if you want seafood chowder, but we have other delicious options: corn chowder, turkey soup, and a chicken salad plate. Choice of cake: chocolate, white, carrot, or “Tory cake” ( white cake with a caramel/raisin sauce). All options are available gluten free.
