A PRAYER FOR PASTOR WAYNE & LORRIE

Heavenly Father,

We come before You today with hearts full of gratitude as we honor and celebrate Pastor Wayne and Lorrie. Thank You for their steadfast dedication, their loving hearts, and their tireless service to our church family.

Lord, we thank You for Pastor Wayne and his leadership. Thank You for giving him the wisdom, discernment, and shepherd's heart needed to guide our congregation. Bless his work as he oversees our church and leads the Men’s Ministry. Equip him with fresh strength, bold faith, and daily vision as he disciples and encourages men to stand firm in You.

We thank You for Lorrie and her faithful leadership of the Ladies Fellowship. Thank You for her warmth, grace, and the welcoming space she creates for women to gather, grow, and support one another in faith.

Father, we lift up their marriage to You. We pray for deep joy, peace, and sacred protection over their union. May their love for one another continue to blossom, serving as a bright light and an encouragement to our entire church family. Refresh them in their quiet moments together, and give them times of rest and renewal.

We cover their children and grandchildren in prayer. Lord, surround their family with Your protection, favor, and presence. Draw each generation close to Your heart, and let Pastor Wayne and Lorrie see Your faithfulness pass down through every age.

Lord, as they continue to walk in their calling, we pray that You would empower them to finish the race well. Keep their eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of their faith. Stir up within them a fire that cannot be quenched. A passionate, holy zeal for Your Word, Your spirit, and Your people. May they feel deeply loved, valued, and refreshed in this season.

This morning, we'll explore practical, biblical wisdom for the market place: from honoring our leaders, to being an encourager right where we're planted.

BAPTISM SUNDAY

This Sunday, our church family is coming together for one of our favourite events and we’d love for you there.

In the Christian faith, water baptism is a significant milestone. It isn’t what grants salvation; rather, it’s a public statement, showing outward obedience to Christ's command and identifying with His death, burial, and resurrection. Dipping beneath the water symbolizes leaving behind our old way of life and the weight of sin, while rising out of the water reflects being raised to walk in brand-new, resurrected life through Jesus.

Join us at 10am to witness these life-changing moments and celebrate what God is doing in our community.

A Prayer for Pastor Daniel

Lord, thank You for Pastor Daniel’s passion for Your presence and his dedication to leading Worship & Young Adults Ministries.

Father, bless him as he balances his ministry calling with his role as a loving husband. Fill him with fresh inspiration, creative worship songs, and deep spiritual discernment as he guides the next generation into authentic fellowship with You.

Grant him divine rest, joyful health, and an abundance of grace in every season. Amen.

Heavenly Father, You are mighty! We thank You that You care deeply about every detail of our lives.

We lift up every student returning to school this week. Protect their peace and ground them in their identity as they step into new classrooms. Holy Spirit, grant them wisdom and discernment as they navigate friendships. Establish every step that they take for your glory.

We pray for every teacher as they build their classroom community. Inspire them with creative ideas and the grace to meet the unique needs of every student on their list.

We also ask Your blessing on every staff member returning to school. Strengthen them to lead with patience, grace, and steady love each day.

Amen 🙏🏻

Gratitude and praise aren’t just things we do after we win a battle. They’re how we break through massive obstacles, much like the ancient story where a simple shout brought down Jericho's walls.

Expressing joy outwardly through singing, clapping, music, or shouting resets our perspective and invites God right into the middle of our life.

Choosing celebration in hard seasons builds resilience and prepares us to see breakthrough moments we couldn't see before.

Don't wait for your circumstances to get easier before you start focusing on God. Start right where you are!

Real faith doesn't wait for the storm to pass before it sings. Worship is a powerful weapon in your deepest need.

When you choose to praise God through pain/suffering and approach His throne of grace, your darkest prison becomes a place of His presence. Every distraction fades until only Jesus remains in your view.

Lift your hands today, knowing your sacrifice of praise is making room for His power. See you at 10am.
