Welcome to Christ Anglican Church Athens 2026 Fall Online Auction.
Bidding is now OPEN! Bidding will end sharply at 12 pm / Noon on Saturday October 17, 2026. Any bids entered after this time will not be considered. The winning bid will go to the highest bidder before or at 12 pm / Noon. Each auction item or package is pictured below. As noted above, the minimum bid shows on each picture and the full details are in the first comment.
How to bid:
- Comment on the photo with your bid amount. Look at all comments for the item to ensure yours is the new highest bid. Facebook will often show the most “relevant” comment and not the most recent or all comments.
- Bidding is in full dollar increments.
- Please only comment with your bid amount or to tag a friend.
- You can click on the 3 dots (•••) in the upper right corner of an item and choose 'Turn on Notifications for this post' to be notified when someone else bids on an item you're following. Make sure to turn on the notifications for each item you are interested in.
- Remember to keep checking back to ensure you have the winning bid! We will pin this post to the top of the Christ Church Athens / Holy Trinity Oak Leaf Facebook site to make it easier for you to find.
If you’re the successful bidder:
- We will notify you if you are the successful highest bidder by replying to your bid comment.
- You can pay for your item(s) by:
• e-transfer [email protected] (please include: Online Auction Item in the e-transfer message); or
• in person at Christ Church Athens, 1 Elma St. Athens with cash or cheque on Saturday October 17 from 4-7 pm or Sunday October 18 from 1-3 pm. If you are not able to pick up your item(s) during that time please call Debbie Gaskell at 613-924-2703 or Donna Ferguson at 613-924-2157 to make alternate arrangements.
- Items must be picked up by 2 PM Saturday October 24, 2026. Photo ID and proof of e-transfer payment may be required.
- If you have not picked up your item or at least contacted us for arrangements by the deadline the item will be offered to the next highest bidder.

It's almost time for the Christ Church fall online auction for outreach projects/charitable purposes.
The auction will launch here at noon on Saturday Oct. 10 and continue for a week. Don't forget to check back to make sure you get the items you'd love to have!

Don't forget that our service time is 1 PM this Sunday October 4th. As we celebrate the end of the Season of Creation and St. Francis of Assisi, we will also offer a pet blessing. If you can't bring your pet, we encourage you to bring a photo.

It's coming back! Our Spring 1/2 Chicken Dinner was so popular, we're going to hold it again on Saturday October 17th. Tickets are only $20 for a 1/2 chicken, baked potato, coleslaw, bun and pie. Please contact Debbie or Donna at the numbers listed on the poster to get your advance tickets.

Christ Church Athens is holding an Online Auction from October 10th - 17th to support community outreach. Community members can bid on items which will be listed in a post on this page starting at noon on Saturday October 10th. If you would like to donate an item for this worthwhile fundraising auction, please send us a message or contact one of our Auction Volunteers listed in the letter below.

Thank you to our community for coming out to our annual Ham Supper! It may have been raining outside but it was all sunshine and smiles inside. We couldn't do this without our amazing volunteers. Our thanks to everyone who set up, cooked & baked, served and cleaned up👏👏👏 You're the best 🎉🥇

UPDATE:
SERVICE MOVED TO HOLY TRINITY OAK LEAF DUE TO RAIN

There's a saying, if you want to make God laugh, tell God your plans. I knew we shouldn't have consulted the Magic 8 ball! It looks like the heavy rain came early so we will hold the service indoors at Holy Trinity Oak Leaf, 107 Holy Trinity Rd (between Lower and Upper Oak Leaf Rds).
