There’s a lot of pressure to be happy and cheerful over the holiday season. For people who are grieving the loss of a loved one, the thought of going to social events can feel overwhelming—even family get-togethers can seem like too much.
“Join us as we celebrate the season”
“You’re invited …”
“Ring in the new year!”
If you’re grieving a loss and would like practical tips on how to:
- Deal with other people’s expectations of you
- Make social events a little easier to attend
- Gracefully accept or decline invitations
- And other tips to navigate the season
Come to GriefShare Surviving the Holidays. At this 2-hour seminar, attendees will view a video featuring helpful advice from counselors, pastors, and other people who’ve made it through the holidays after loss. They’ll take part in a moderated, small-group discussion time. And all attendees will take home a booklet filled with helpful charts, practical exercises, and encouraging words.
